Humans, known for their large variety of personalities, strengths, immortality and boldness, were considered fearless by almost every extraterrestrial in Milkyway. They brushed off organisms able to tear them apart and broken ligaments as if they were nothing, further proving the alien claims. Humans could be found in every extraterrestrial spaceship, each carrying their own uniqueness aligning with the earth-outsiders for better bonding-experience.
As much as their technology advanced towards space visits and temporary planet dwells, questions from the aliens began forming about their home planet; the ocean. Humans had developed a trip into sprinkled void before completely discovering every inch of their own mother earth, resulting in inquiries driven by curiosity.
"So you managed to visit your gas planet at last?" Gto'yo's fur bristled in shock upon the human's grinning face of triumph despite the intensity of that claim. "Yup! We adjusted our space suits to defy the gravitational pull, and from there we practically flew around, gathering samples until we fulfilled our mission." Mike adjusted the files stacked in his lap, setting it on the counter for later. "Pluto too. Clearly we couldn't forget that planet after everyong excluded it from the solar system..." His words faded into a mumble, turning to glance at Alan sitting in the living room, clearly having an opinion about Pluto Mike didn't stand with.
"Oh! I completely understand. Completing the discovery of every inch on your planet must have you humans wish for more exotic sight?" Gto'yo stared in wonder, clearly in awe at the humans successful adventure on planet earth. As if the Hii'co species hadn't already long reached that mark. "…Who told you that?" Mike's eyes narrowed in confusion. "We haven't even explored the ocean yet."
"The ocean?! Why not?" Gto'yo leaned back in suprise. "But your kind swims around the vibrant underwater scenery! You even pet the carnivorous chindrichtyes! Anyone would have thought you had explored what covers most of your land…" A vibrant clawed hand lifted up to rest on Gto'yo's forehead, letting a sigh escape in despondency.
"As much as we pet everything in sight and explore coasts just to boast about it," Mike nervously smiled "We know where the line ends." Tension lingered in the air as he glanced towards Alan, occupied in the distance with his electronic to browse through what could only be seen as Yotube.
The melancholy atmosphere was quickly noticed by Gto'yo as his colorful fur-coated frame slowly bristled up, leaving a trace of something internally unseen. "What is with the sudden tension? Do you not enjoy the thrill of fear?" He questioned, taking in the sight of Mike's unease. "Well… Yeah," a strained smile curled Mike's lips "But we have a limit to that."
A prolonged amount of awkward silence stretched out between the two contrasting kinds, eyes remaining on Gto'yo's gobsmaked face as if the extraterrestrial never expected humans to even know the concept of the unseen limit-line. "Wait-- what? Your species, known for your lack of self restraint against unspecified temptations… know where the unseen restrictions of actions lay?"
"Ish, I mean-- We know what not to cross, unless we are asking to be killed." Mike replied, leaning back into one of the many seats floating by the counter. Gto'yo's long antennaes shimmered a luminous glow in confusion, the subconscious respond not going unnoticed by the human."'Ish'? Is that a new earth dish? Why are you bringing sustenance into this dialog?" Gto'yo tilted his head, even more perplexed than ever. "Well, forget it. I want to know why you do not explore what covers most of your terrestrial planet." Gto'yo narrowed his eyes at his human crew member, insistent to discover another unique trait of them when Mike's earlier words finally hit Gto'Yo.
"Ask-- Asking to be killed?!" Gto'yo exclaimed in horror, puffing his cheeks to calm himself "If you could elaborate…" He softly responded, yet the lingering tension remained in his tone from earlier discovery. Mike nonchalantly observed his extraterrestrial comrade's tempetuous emotions going through a roller coaster, clearly having expected that reaction. "There has been recordings and documentation of unknown species. Whales, as large as they can be had us discover there were other far more concerning kinds."
Mike leaned into his hand "Once a man went down to explore, he came across a shallow pit. The worst part? Half the body of a dead whale emerged from beneath the edge. We are not taking the chance to explore something that might wake up and cause the end of the world." His teasing and bold demeanor had faded into a rare display of solemnity, silently showcasing the gravity of the humans situation on Earth.
Silence enveloped the room after Mike's response, recieving a stunned look from Gto'yo. The extraterrestrial would later on update the log of Earth-001, ensuring none of his kind entered the ocean coasts for the safety of Mike's home planet.
