Summary
Luz Noceda had always wanted to do something special, be someone special. It was like a calling for her. So when news began to come out about other kids experiencing magical journeys or isekai adventures, Luz felt like she was due to have something happen. Yet, as she ended her first year of high school, she was still just the loser of all of Gravesfield and was being sent to Reality Check Camp in place of being expelled. Feeling her only safe place, her home, being taken away, with her own mother allowing it, Luz runs into the woods and stumbles into the Boiling Isles. There she decides to spend the summer with King, the self proclaimed King of Demons, and Eda, the Owl Lady, and Hooty, the strange house demon, rather than going to a soul crushing camp. Now in a place to potentially have magical adventures, make friends, and more she doesn’t yet know, Luz hopes that maybe, just maybe, she’ll find somewhere to fit in.
