   Summary

   100 teenagers with troubled pasts compete in a race across the West Coast of the United States to earn their freedom.
   Felix Blackwater is one of those teenagers. Accused of murdering his girlfriend and forced to participate in this cruel competition, Felix must decide the best way to survive, and decide if it is worth it.

   This is an alternate version of another story I wrote, Cry Coyote Run. It diverts from the main story in chapter 9 when a major decision is made: Does he go with the murderer or try to fight? In this work, he chooses the murderer.
