Chapter Text
Prologue
Thunder shook the sky. Zeus was angered.
"What do you mean we're all to become mortal?!" The booming voice of Zeus, king of the gods, god of lightning, god of hospitality.
Three old women were set before him. The Fates. Older and more powerful than all of the gods combined.
"You can do nothing about it Zeus." One of the Fates spoke. The other gods stood silently, Apollo had already accepted his fate of becoming mortal for the 4th time hours ago when he'd first heard, and when this argument had started.
Eventually things died down, there was calm. Before a fatal boom seemed to shake the sky itself.
The gods fell that day. But not permanently.
