She could tell the others could see what was wrong as well. The change in demeanor was obvious, of course, but what was really wrong was that this boy was clearly several years younger than Robin had been when they had last met. Robin had been around for years, he must have been in his late teens when they'd last spoken. In fact, this boy seemed to be closer in age to when Robin had first been introduced to her. She felt her unease grow as she accepted that this was an entirely different boy.

Burce had come for him. He always did. He’s glad, he thinks. Glad that he got the chance to stay alive long enough to hear his father’s voice one last time. He felt the dark creeping in, and this time, instead of fighting it, he let it take over. The last thought he has is of his father. Bruce.
Always his father.
Jason Todd crawled out of the pit…different. Hollow. Broken. And betrayed. With anger flowing through his veins, he sets out with every intention of destroying Batman and his legacy. That was the plan and nothing would distract him from his goal. That is, until he actually faces Batman, and has to come to terms with his Issues™, and how badly he aches for his family. Yeah…that definitely wasn’t part of the plan.

On February 21st, 1943, after over 24 hours of labor and the near death of both mother and child, Marvin is born at 1:21:34 AM. He is small and struggles to breathe and the nurse tasked with caring for him prays he’ll make it through the night.
There’s water in his lungs, you see, fluid he has to hack out to survive. Officially, Marvin starts to breathe without problem on Tuesday afternoon, beginning to cry and not refraining save when he passes out for short, fitful rests.
Really, he never stops coughing, never stops drowning. The fluid in his lungs is slowly killing him from the day he is born, but Marvin doesn’t die here. Not yet.
First, he grows up.

When Bravo get told that Trent has been arrested for murdering Clay, they are left shaken. Clay's missing, suspected to be dead based on evidence found at the scene of the crime, and with Trent as the prime suspect, the evidence keeps mounting against him and making it seem like he did it. Desperate to uncover the truth, Bravo work alongside the BAU. As the truth about Clay and Trent's relationship gets revealed, and the evidence becomes more damning, Bravo have to work harder than ever to keep their faith in Trent, and keep hoping that Clay is alive. No body had been found, Trent has no memories of the night, and Bravo have to solve the case before it's too late. Bravo know Trent didn't do this, they just have to prove it first.
You don't have to have watched Criminal Minds to read this, none of the chapters are from Criminal Minds characters' points of view. Tags may be updated as I write the rest of the chapters. Aiming for 50000 words in total, and about 11-12 chapters, though this might change.

Summary
In their world, people were connected by the marks on their skin, soulmarks. The different colors had different meanings, from platonic and familial to romantic, but one thing that stood firm between them all was that when a soulmate died, the mark of the survivor turned black, the flesh raised like a scar. Tim had felt six of his soulmates die before he had turned eighteen.
He had never expected that the first of his soulmates would come back from the dead, seeking to harm him for wearing the suit that the other had died in. It was because of this that he never told the other of the connection, even as they started getting along years down the line.
Now, a mission where Tim has to call in another of his marks leads him to having to do just that. -
