Summary
Zee travels to New York for work, where she meets a very familiarly handsome stranger. Immediately drawn to him, she quickly learns that there is something more to the mysterious new man in her life, and excited by the adventure, she decides initially to keep him a secret from her lovers. Far away from the protection of her friends, she becomes caught in a romance she can't possibly remain in control of.
Meanwhile, Crowley is as protective and worried as always, and increasingly sure that something isn't right. As Zee's behaviour becomes more concerning, will he be able to convince Aziraphale of the reality of her danger before it's too late?
Our gang are about to learn far more than they are prepared for about the darker side of doppelgangers, and the costs of playing with something as dangerous as mind control.
