‘’Who’s a good Guard dog? You are!’’ Zagreus says, rubbing Cerberus’ heads, smiling wildly. The prince makes a motion with his hand to get his sisters to come pet the giant Dog of underworld with his. The princesses step out of the darkness, and rush over to the god, smiling and laughing as they pet the giant pup.
Hypnos floats nearby, not paying attention to anyone or anything around him. He blinks, one eye at a time, and then stretches. He was exhausted. As if he never isn’t.
Thanatos eyes the three royal kids, smiling seeing them playing with the pup. She scoffs, the serotonin in her heart to much to handle, so she walks towards the trio, and asks to pet the dog as well.
The ground opens up, and all heads turn as the King and Queen of the Underworld return. ‘’Welcome.. (yawn) Back your majesties..’’ Hypnos says, placing his hands behind his head, and closing his eyes, falling asleep. The king nods his head, and looks at the for gods petting the large dog, all eyes on him and his wife. ‘’I see you guys enjoy petting Cerberus? Correct?’’
The eldest prince nods his head, ‘’We don’t really have much else to do. We haven’t been to the overworld in a while.. so..’’ The two princesses and Death nod their heads in agreement. ‘’I tend to visit often, but that’s just for work purposes.’’ Thanatos says, shrugging and stepping beside her lover.
‘’Indeed.’’ Persephone spoke up, ‘’My time to leave is yet to come, so before it does come, I would like to spend some time with you, and be above ground.’’
‘’You’d like to go— Above ground, My queen?’’ Thanatos asked, walking to the queen, ‘’Before you have to leave?’’ The queen nodded, ‘’It would seem nice. If you’d like, you can invite that Spirit of War and Goddess of harmony if you’d like.’’ Thanatos’ face lights up, and she fist bumps the air, and makes one of her more goofy faces compared to her more dull looks.
Zagreus walks up to her and leans on her shoulder, ‘’Are we all going?’’ He asked, looking up at his mother, smiling widely. The queen looked at her son, ‘’If you have anyone you’d like to join us, go get them.’’
’’Well what are we waiting for?’’ Melinoë asked, walking up to her parents, a bright smile on her face.
‘’You want the rock Cerb’? You want it?!’’ Zagreus held the large rock that was twice the size of his head, and threw it with the strength he had. ‘’Go get it!’’
Thanatos, Macaria and Melinoë cheered as Cerberus chased the rock into the river, and splashed them as he returned. ‘’Ugh- Haha!’’ Thanatos groaned in disgust, but laughed seeing how soaked The Prince was. ‘’I should’ve seen this coming.’’ He said, fixing his crown.
Thanatos fell over in laughter, pointing at the prince, unable to hold in her voice as it spilt the air. The younger princesses laughed as well, laughing at their brother as her fixed his hair and clothes.
Sitting not too far from the river, was The royal couple, Hephaestus and Dionysus. The four were chatting, with The King deciding to invite his nephews knowing the life they live on Olympus. ‘’It’s one day I won’t be with my Pantheon, but It’s not like it’ll hurt them.’’ The wine god said, laughing as he took a sib of the ambrosia. Hephaestus rolled his eyes, ‘’At least you have people that care for you.’’ The fire god sipped his drink, and laughed a bit when Persephone joking hit his arm.
’’I know I know.. I have You guys and Aglaea.’’ He says, ‘’And I’m somewhat grateful.’’ The queen laughed, leaning against her husband’s shoulder, holding her drink in her lap, eyeing her kids from afar. ‘’Wonderful Idea you had. I haven’t been above the surface in a while.’’ Hades says, eyeing his wife, ‘’Never say anything negative about Dread Persephone.’’ The goddess laughed, looking up into dark eyes.
The god laughed into his fist, ‘’Of course, why would I?’’
’’Hey! Hope we aren’t late!’’ A voice calls out. The group by the tree turn to see the Spirit of War and Goddess of Harmony, along side The God of Love, and Goddess of Human soul walking towards the pantheon.
’’Enya! Harmonia! You made it!’’ Thanatos looked over her shoulder, and rushed to Her friend’s sides, Embracing the four of them in a tight hug. The group fall into laughter as they fell to the ground, ‘’Than!’’
Death sits up, looking at her friends as they laugh, ‘’You said Aphro was holding you back?’’ Harmonia looks at The goddess and laughs agin, ‘’Yes, but Mother could never have full control of me.’’ Than stands up, helping the others up as well. ‘’I see you have your hood down today?’’ Enyalius says, smiling at the smaller goddess. ‘’I do?’’ Thanatos moves her hand and she realizes her hood must’ve fallen when she was running.
’’I do.’’ She says. Death moves her hands and plans to pull her hood up, but second guesses herself and decides to let it stay down. She grabs Enyalius’ and Harmonia’s hands, dragging them over to the Royal siblings and her brother, whom were still playing with The Giant guard dog.
Eros and Psyche move to the older gods, whom wave as they walk to the tree. ‘’Good to see you two, how are things on Olympus?’’ Persephone asks, looking at The two with a bright smile. ‘’Better than being dead.’’ Psyche jokes, but Eros judges her shoulder, telling her to stop. Persephone laughs, telling the Love god to calm down, and that bygones are bygones.
Hades pulls out a few more cups, and hands them to the couple, whom happily accepts them. Dionysus grabs a bottle and pours them some ambrosia, ‘’I see my favorite married couple are doing good.’’ The wine god laughs, leaning against the tree, holding the cup up in cheer. Eros laughs, his face flushing, ‘’Definitely better than Ares and Mother, or.. You know who.’’
The group bursts into laughter, getting who The god was referring too, ‘’Indeed. I’m surprised that those two still stick together.’’ Hades commented, rolling his eyes. ‘’They both deserve better, and each other.’’ Persephone says, setting her cup down, and laughing into her fists.
’’If only i could fix it..’’ Eros feigns sadness, eyeing the sky’s above the mountain of Olympus not to far in the distance. ‘’As if you fixed anything else?’’ Psyche asked, looking at her husband. ‘’Psyche!’’
All heads turn to the river when a noise is made, and they watched as a cloud of lightning floats above the river dwellers. ‘’Hades! Your brother-‘’ Thanatos shouts pointing at the cloud as small lighting strikes her finger, making the goddess screaming in shock.
’’Ugh..’’ The group feigns in anger, ‘’Hypnos!’’ Hades calls. The sleep god nods his head, and vanished in a sudden sensation.
A few seconds pass, and the cloud vanished, with Hypnos returning to his sister’s side, watching the sky clear above them once more.
’’Thank you!’’ Zagreus calls out, and Cerberus returns to playing with the pantheon on the river. Everyone returned to what they were doing, with the group at the tree going back to talking, ‘’Anyways, I was just about to talk about him.’’ Dionysus says, going back to drinking his ambrosia. ‘’Still being scummy?’’ Persephone says, to which the wine god nodded, ‘’Sadly.’’ He said, expression unchanged.
’’Poor Hera.’’ Psyche says, feigning sadness, despite there being a smile on her lips. ‘’I see you’re smiling. You don’t feel bad.’’ Dionysus says, eyeing the goddess. ‘’I do, I just can only wonder who The king got this time. I heard Hera was angry today.’’
’’Another mortal, we all know that.’’ Hephaestus says, taking another sip of his ambrosia. ‘’Indeed.’’ The other five say in unison.

Thanatos and Zagreus struggled as they played in the Water, with The Twins sitting on their shoulders. ‘’You got this!’’ Thanatos cheered, raing her fist up. ‘’Who are you cheering for?!’’ The gods question looking up at Death. The goddess shrugged, ‘’Whoever I think is winning.’’ She smiled, ‘’Just keep going!’’
Harmonia, Melinoë and Macaria sit one a few rocks nearby, drying out their clothes, eyeing their siblings and friends. ‘’Those three will never change.’’ Harmonia says as she wrings water from her hair, rolling her eyes as Hypnos and Zagreus fall into the water below with both of them yelling shock, with Thanato’s voice shouting ‘’We win!’’ A few seconds after.
’’They never should.’’ Melinoë says, laughing as she fixes her over clothes, standing up and stepping onto land again. Macaria follows her sister laughing with her as they walk away from the river. Harmonia stands up, walking into the river, and looking up and Thanatos and Enyalius as they continue to celebrate their win. ‘’This is why you DO NOT mess with death and war!’’ Thanatos shouts at her twin and lover as they stand up. ‘’You’ll pay!’’ They shouts, before they tackle the duo. Harmonia steps aside as the duo fall into the water, ‘’Oh great..’’

The ground opens up, and The Gods wave to the others as they return to the underworld as The others return back to Olympus. ‘’We will win next time!’’ Zagreus cal sto Enyalius as he and his cousin walk away, with The spirit calls out a ‘’Good Luck!’’
The goddesses rush back to the house of Hades, disappearing around the corner and vanishing. Hypnos disappears in a bog of grey smoke, leaving just Hades and Persephone to walk back to the main hall. The spirits and souls welcome their rules, and guard hound back.
Cerberus sits back at the side of the Throne of Hades and his Queen, falling asleep almost immediately. The queen wave sto her husband as she goes to the bed chambers, and disappeared from view. Hades smiled as his wife left, and sat on the throne, holding his hand out a letter appears in his hand, ‘’Oh Enya.’’ He rolled his eyes, looking as he unrolled the message.
’’Tell Zagreus He wont win next time. Oh and tell Thanatos I enjoyed the day today.’’ Was all the message said, to which Hades smiled. ‘’No worries.’’ He stood up, and placed the message away, and disappeared into the darkness, ready for a restful sleep.
