Summary
Ryuji's life is anything but typical. He's a werewolf, and the 'supposedly dead' victim of the animal attack that changed him. It keeps him undercover, relying on his family and friends to help him get by. He's also dating a decades old vampire named Akira, a man who was once Ryuji's only companion until he returned to living among humans.
The two of them are working hard to make a life inside a society not made to fit them. It isn't easy, but they're finding a way to make it work. Which wouldn't be such an issue if danger didn't seem to haunt them wherever they go.
A grisely string of murders begins, with no clear evidence of who or what is killing off the locals.
Is this the act of creatures driven by insticts they can't control?
Or humans with dark hearts, that act as beastly as those they hunt?
Something evil stalks the night, and it will force Ryuji and Akira to pick a side in a war they want no part in. A decision that could strip them of everything and everyone they've come to know and love.
