Evan Buckley has always had an overactive imagination. It's what everyone said, when they weren't trying to diagnose him with something or calling him an attention seeker. By the time he landed a job on the fire station 118 in Los Angeles, he had the art of ignoring strangeness down to a science (mostly). And then the universe laughed in Buck's face.
Disappearing children, flying horses, giant human-eating dogs; LA had it all. If only someone else saw it.
