Andrealphus had lovers from time to time. No one stuck around but not from lack of trying. On their part, of course, Andrealphus was not one to form attachments. He had received marriage offers from dukes and duchesses and requests to become a concubine of sorts from a king or two, but Andrealphus would not be a kept bird.
That was until Andrealphus woke up one morning and thought, ‘I need to make a nest.’
