Notice on the formatting of all documents collected within this packet
These documents and their annotations have been digitally formatted to ensure accurate screen-reading for the benefit of His Imperial Highness. He, and any others within the Royal Department of Historical Records who require the service, may therefore share a similar understanding of how they are to be read as those who do not have impaired vision.
Formatting includes some extended notations, punctuation that might otherwise be inappropriate on the original documents, and phonetic reminders of how some words should be pronounced when felt appropriate or significant. The documents may be updated in the future, should it be requested, if disruptive enough inaccuracies are found.
This packet is collected and annotated by Commander Difas Ador [pronounced DeeFas Adore], Imperial Naval Intelligence.

Scouting Mission; Outer Rim, Drongar System, Drongar; Follow Up Investigation
Filed By: Captain [NAME REDACTED]
Team landed on Drongar two days following the loss of contact with scouting team at last known location. Scouting team's transport was found on the remains of the temporary landing pad of former RMSU-18's final deployment prior to the planet being abandoned in the last days of the Clone Wars. The location was over-grown, but still recognizable. The scouting team had clearly set up a temporary base of operations and reports found on transport indicated potentially favorable conditions for the [SECTION REDACTED]. Scouting team was not in immediate vicinity.
We found the first body 1.4 klicks from transport. Cause of death was not determinable at that time, but wounds indicated involvement of potential fauna. Dog tags were recovered and body marked for retrieval. Team went on high alert.
The second and third were found 3.8 and 4.2 klicks out from the first, creating a line that suggested the group was running from something. Dog tags were recovered and bodies marked for retrieval.
Fourth body was not found, but the lower portion of one arm was - human, holding a broken metal cylinder of some sort. Further identification impossible.
At this time, our team came under heavy fire and we were forced to retreat to our ship and leave the surface to ensure no further deaths. As we exited atmosphere, we found ourselves surrounded by a small flotilla of pirate vessels of unknown affiliation. Symbols on the hulls were [SECTION REDACTED].
We exited the system after taking heavy damage that left three crew members injured and one in critical condition. It is with a heavy heart that I advise that members of scouting team are considered to be lost, the system be removed from all further considerations, and recommend the blanket ban of travel to or through system.

Notice of Non-Intervention
To all Alliance personnel,
Until further notice, it is advised to avoid all travel through or to the Drongar System. In the years since the Clone Wars, it seems it has become a thriving hideaway for pirate activity that has been well-hidden from the notice of the greater galaxy.
We are saddened to report that one of our scouting teams was recently lost because information on the system's activity was insufficient to determine it should be avoided prior to the team being sent. Those who are close friends and family of the departed have been notified privately of their passing and we mourn their loss with them.
Given the Alliance's current situation and the now-clear facts of the matter, any individuals or groups who choose to purposely travel through or to the Drongar System cannot assure the survival of themselves or their allies. As such, this Notice of Non-Intervention is to inform you that until we are able to regroup; [Annotation 3] and assess the capacity of the fleet, no support will be provided by Alliance Command should a call for aid be received from within the system.
We cannot, and will not, stop those who may choose to go themselves in response to such a call, but we cannot, at this time, sanction official actions within the system. Please plan your travels accordingly and may the Force be with us all.

General note: All redactions on these two files were done by the Alliance prior to our agent obtaining them. We have, in the time since receiving them, been able to determine what and who most of the redactions were related to. These determinations are not included in this research as they are considered of negligible relevance to the research being conducted.
[Annotation 1]; The A B Y Date format is a new format for the Alliance. They have always been resistant to using the standardized BFE/AFE date format. However, prior to this report, they chose to use either the Russan Reformation or the Great ReSynchronization Format. Based on the assumed 'day 25 of month 3 of year 0' and 'day 27 of month 3 of year 0' readings, A B Y is strongly postulated to refer to the Battle of Yavin in some format because the only known significant incident involving the Alliance that occurred prior to the Notice of Non-Intervention was the destruction of the DS-1 Orbital Station over Yavin IV.
[Annotation 2]; Unknown Slicer can be assumed to be the owner of the missing arm described in the report as the Pilot was found alive and with both arms intact.
[Annotation 3]; This notice verifies ISB speculation that the Rebel Alliance Fleet was, at the time of the report, still scattered and with limited contact among the groups following their partial evacuation of their primary Base on Yavin IV.
