Work Text:
For some reason, every summer Azula found herself in the same situation: eight people standing in front of the door to her house on Ember Island. At first, her response was always the same: she slammed the door in their faces. But sooner or later, whether it was Ty Lee or Mai, one of them managed to talk some sense into her.
Azula had been living for years in the house that had once belonged to her father, the imposing mansion on the coast of Ember Island. After Ozai's downfall, his entire inheritance had passed into her hands; Zuko had been exiled and disinherited, and with their father's death, she was left as the sole legitimate heir. The Fire Lord never mentioned anything about it nor attempted to buy his own house on the island, perhaps because it gave him the perfect excuse to visit her sister. Moreover, being close to Azula had an advantage: no one dared to approach when he was with her.
The problem arose when his friends found out. Soon, they started begging Zuko to take them to Ember Island, as their exhausting lives made them yearn for those small vacations on the tranquil island. While at first, they all felt uncomfortable with Azula's presence, the tension gradually dissipated over the years. Mai and Ty Lee had rekindled their friendship with the Fire Princess long before, but the others also softened their perceptions upon discovering unexpected facets of the firebender.
The first to take the step, to no one's surprise, was the Avatar. Aang would often get up early to meditate at dawn just like Azula, and at some point, he began doing it alongside her. Since then, he made efforts to include her in the group’s activities, which gradually facilitated her integration. Some of them started to show up unexpectedly on weekends, knowing that Azula preferred to ignore them, which allowed them to relax without interference.
With Toph, Azula would fight until exhaustion, and the same went for Suki, although in a very different manner. With Sokka, they looked for ways to experiment with lightbending. And with Katara... well, things had been complicated at first, but after an intense physical confrontation, they managed to treat each other civilly. What no one expected was that from there, a genuine friendship would blossom. They would spend hours talking, losing track of time, finding unexpected parallels in their lives and personalities. Thus, each visit from Katara, each sincere conversation, solidified a connection that neither of them had imagined possible.
That was why Azula was completely baffled at this moment.
They had decided to spend the afternoon at the beach near the house. As soon as they arrived, Aang and Suki ran to the water, enjoying the touch of the sea. Sokka and Toph began a sandcastle competition, where the Water Tribe boy was losing miserably against the earthbender. Meanwhile, the rest of the group settled down to sunbathe, except for Mai and Zuko, who, in their usual style, had taken refuge under an umbrella.
Only three people were left lying in the sun.
"'Zulaaaaa, put some sunscreen on me!" Ty Lee pleaded, her eyes wide like a puppy’s, a look that neither Mai nor Azula could resist.
"You're an acrobat, you can reach yourself," Azula replied with a hint of disdain.
"But I'm so comfy lying in the sun..." Ty Lee dragged out her words in a whiny voice.
"You're so annoying." Azula sighed, giving in.
Katara observed the scene with some confusion, surprised by Azula’s apparent docility in fulfilling the request without much resistance, something that seemed unusual to her. Ty Lee, noticing Katara's expression, was quick to act with a mischievous smile.
"Now Katara‘s turn."
Azula looked at her, puzzled, then turned toward Katara. "You too?"
"I didn’t see her put any on," Ty Lee added from behind, smiling, "and not all of us are firebenders, you know."
Katara visibly tensed, but the princess shrugged and began walking towards her to apply the sunscreen.
Katara was sitting facing the Kyoshi warrior, who watched as, the moment Azula withdrew the lotion from the bottle and placed it on the Water Tribe girl’s back, she started blushing more and more. Involuntarily, she gasped very softly, but Ty Lee had heard it, so, embarrassed, Katara jumped up before Azula could finish.
"Hey, I wasn't done-” protested Azula, perplexed.
But Katara was already running toward the water, leaving a bewildered Azula behind. Looking at her brother for answers, since he’d been friends with the waterbender for the longest time, she asked, "Is this normal?"
Zuko just shrugged. He didn’t have the faintest idea either.
Ty Lee, still lying on her towel, turned toward Mai. "Do they really not get it?"
"You know how Azula is. And well, Zuko is even worse," Mai replied indifferently.
"Agni..." Ty Lee sighed, staring at her friend in horror. "Someone has to do something."
"Be my guest," Mai responded with a faint smile.
Katara had been somewhat distant with Azula. It wasn’t that she was completely ignoring her, but she didn’t speak to her with the same ease as before. Azula assumed that Katara simply wanted to spend more time with the rest of her friends. Maybe she was a little tired of her constant company. Even so, as they walked back to the house from the beach, Katara, a bit more composed, quietly positioned herself beside her. That’s when Azula noticed something unusual: Katara’s shoulders were reddened from the sun.
Without a second thought, Azula extended a finger and gently touched the sunburned skin, which immediately drew a complaint from Katara.
“You should have let me put sunscreen on you,” Azula said in a reproachful tone.
Katara let out a nervous laugh, looking away. “It’s just… I wanted to swim. I didn’t think I’d burn so quickly.”
Azula was about to insist on the importance of protecting oneself when she felt something—or rather someone—cling to her arm. Ty Lee, with her usual energy, had latched onto her like a limpet.
“'Zula is great at putting on sunscreen,” Ty Lee announced with a beaming smile. “Look, I haven’t burned at all.”
Azula, pleased with the comment, returned her friend's smile. However, what didn’t escape Ty Lee’s notice was how Katara’s gaze grew more intense as she watched Ty Lee clinging closer to the princess. Azula didn’t seem bothered by the proximity.
“It’s unusual to see you stay still for so long, Ty Lee,” Katara ‘joked’, though her tone had a veiled edge to it.
Ty Lee couldn’t help but notice the slight hint of jealousy in Katara’s voice. With a mischievous grin, she decided to fan the flames and planted a kiss on Azula’s cheek.
“I suppose I can’t say no to Azula, can I?”
Azula raised an eyebrow, slightly perplexed, but since Ty Lee was always affectionate with both Mai and her, she didn’t think much of it. It was just Ty Lee being Ty Lee.
But for Katara, the scene wasn’t that simple. She clenched her jaw, trying to keep her reaction from becoming too obvious.
“Good for you,” she said, her voice as sharp as a blade of ice.
Without waiting for a response, Katara quickened her pace, leaving them behind without even glancing back. Azula watched her, genuinely confused, then turned to Ty Lee.
“Do you think there’s something wrong with Katara? She’s been acting strange today,”
“Really?” Ty Lee looked at her hopeful that Azula to understand the reason for the waterbender's behavior.
Unfortunately Azula simply shrugged.
“Maybe the sun got to her,” Azula concluded, not giving it much more thought.
Ty Lee rolled her eyes with an exasperated sigh and released Azula’s arm. It was clear her friend still wasn’t catching on to the obvious. But just as she was about to say something, Azula changed the subject.
“I think there’s a festival tonight,” she said. “I’ve been seeing the announcements all over the island for weeks.”
Ty Lee, seeing a perfect opportunity to play matchmaker, flashed a mischievous smile. “Where?”
They were all gathered around the table, enjoying a relaxed meal while chatting casually. Ty Lee, seated in the middle with Azula on one side and Mai on the other, suddenly stood up, interrupting the calm of the moment.
“Guys!”
“She sure loves being the center of attention,” Mai murmured quietly, just loud enough for Azula, who was beside her, to hear. The comment brought a small smile to the princess’ face.
“I heard that, you know,” Ty Lee replied, smiling with her usual energy, though not losing the flow of what she was about to say.
“Anyways,” Ty Lee continued, “‘Zula told me there’s a festival tonight. So, once we’re done eating, we should get ready and go.”
Katara leaned forward, interested. “Do we have to dress in some kind of-” she began to ask, but before she could finish, Ty Lee cheerfully cut her off.
“Don’t worry, we’re going to raid Azula’s closet,” Ty Lee announced, throwing a mischievous glance at the Fire Princess.
“Who do you think you are to-” Azula began, frowning, but Ty Lee swiftly covered her mouth with her hand.
“No. You have plenty of clothes,” she said firmly.
Azula shot her a death glare. Meanwhile, Toph, who was a few seats away, swallowed her food and added, “And what if we don’t like the firebitch’s clothes?”
“You can wear your regular clothes, it’s not like—” Ty Lee abruptly removed her hand from Azula’s mouth as she felt the princess bite down on it.
“You brute!” Ty Lee exclaimed, shaking her hand slightly and feigning indignation that lasted only a moment.
Azula stuck her tongue out at her friend like a little child. Out of the corner of her eye, Ty Lee noticed Katara letting out an unexpected laugh. Maybe the plan to make her jealous could work well. With a sly smile, Ty Lee decided that the festival tonight could be interesting…
When Ty Lee claimed that Azula had plenty of clothes, she wasn’t exaggerating. In the princess’s room, a massive wardrobe was overflowing with garments of different styles, though always in the color palette she preferred.
Toph was the first to decide that none of those clothes were for her, opting to stick with her usual earth-toned attire. Mai, loyal to her minimalist style, also declined. However, Suki and Ty Lee quickly made their choices, rummaging through the garments until they found something they liked. The only one who seemed undecided was Katara. She was torn between a red strap dress, sleek and elegant, or a more relaxed outfit: an off-the-shoulder top and a long skirt that reached her ankles.
Ty Lee saw the perfect opportunity. With a mischievous smile, she tossed the clothes she had chosen to Suki to hold, and without giving Azula time to react, she grabbed her by the arm and pulled her over to where Katara stood.
“Why don’t you try both and we’ll decide which one looks better on you?” Ty Lee suggested.
“I’m not sure if...” Katara began to say, but before she could finish, Ty Lee nudged Azula, who looked at her in evident confusion.
Katara also watched the scene, somewhat bewildered, but finally nodded, a bit hesitant. “Well, okay, but...”
Before she could end that sentence Ty Lee gently pushed her toward the bathroom in Azula’s room. “Come on, go ahead! We’ll wait here,” she said in a cheerful tone.
Once Katara disappeared behind the door, Ty Lee turned to Azula with a determined look. “You’re going to pick out the jewelry for her,” she ordered firmly.
“But we don’t even know what she’s going to wear yet,” Azula protested, crossing her arms.
“Whatever you like best,” Ty Lee replied with a cunning smile.
“What?” Azula raised an eyebrow, not understanding what her friend was implying.
Before she could say more, Katara came out of the bathroom wearing the red strap dress. The fabric hugged her figure perfectly, accentuating her tanned skin and curves in a way that Azula couldn’t help but notice. In fact, she found herself staring, momentarily lost in her thoughts.
“Do you like it?” Katara asked, though it was clear she was only waiting for one person’s opinion.
Azula, still dazed, didn’t respond immediately. However, Ty Lee quickly intervened. “Don’t bother trying the other one. This one’s perfect. Go choose the jewelry with ‘Zula,” she instructed, giving Katara an excuse to stay a little closer to the princess.
Katara, clearly hoping for some kind of reaction from Azula, nodded silently, feeling a bit disappointed at the lack of response from the other girl. “Oh, and you should let ‘Zula do your makeup too,” Ty Lee added, not missing the chance to keep pushing her plan.
“Why are you volunteering me for everything?” Azula protested, starting to get irritated.
Ty Lee clung to her arm with an exaggeratedly dramatic gesture. “Because you’re the best at everything, right, Katara?”
Katara’s expression changed in an instant at seeing Ty Lee’s affectionate gesture toward Azula. Her jaw tightened, and with a cold tone, she responded, “Don’t worry, you don’t have to do anything, Azula.”
Without another word, Katara abruptly turned around, grabbing a visibly confused Suki by the arm, and the two of them left the room. The atmosphere had chilled in a matter of seconds.
Once the girls disappeared down the hallway, Ty Lee lightly hit Azula on the arm. “What was that?”
“What are you talking about?” Azula asked, visibly bewildered. “I didn’t do anything.”
“Agni, you’re a complete mess with zero awareness of what’s happening around you,” Ty Lee sighed, rubbing her forehead in exasperation.
Azula frowned. “What are you talking about?”
Ty Lee looked at her with determination. “Get ready quickly and make yourself look good. Choose whatever suits you best.”
Azula, not used to taking orders from anyone, was about to retort, but seeing the serious expression on Ty Lee’s face, she realized arguing would be pointless. With a sigh of resignation, she accepted the situation.
“Fine, I’ll do it. But only because it seems like I don’t have any other choice,” she muttered, as she headed to her wardrobe to pick out her outfit.
Katara’s anger faded the moment Azula appeared. The waterbender was talking with Aang when the firebender walked into the room, but upon seeing her, the words caught in her throat. The conversation quickly became one-sided, with Aang talking by himself while Katara couldn’t take her eyes off Azula.
Ty Lee much more aware of what was going on between the two, couldn’t resist stepping in. With a mischievous smile, she walked over to where they were and, pretending to trip, gently pushed Azula toward Katara.
“Oops! Sorry,” she exclaimed with feigned innocence.
Azula didn’t lose her balance, but the push left her dangerously close to Katara, so close she could almost feel the heat from her skin. For a moment, their eyes met, and the tension in the air became palpable. Katara, still a bit dazed, broke the silence first.
“You look…beautiful,” she said softly, sincerely, as her eyes took in Azula’s face, studying it intently.
Katara’s compliment caught Azula completely off guard, a faint blush appeared on her cheeks.
Azula tried to regain her composure quickly, though she struggled to find the right words. Finally, she decided to return the compliment, although her tone sounded more nervous than she had intended.
“You too,” she replied awkwardly. Immediately afterward, seeing the beaming smile spreading across Katara’s face, Azula felt she had done the right thing.
Aang, who had been watching the scene in silence, couldn’t help but smile sweetly at the interaction. Without saying a word, the Avatar quietly slid toward the exit, giving them space. Before leaving, he turned to Katara and gave her a thumbs-up for encouragement. Katara, noticing Aang’s gesture, blushed slightly.
“Thank you,” Katara whispered, before turning her attention fully back to the Fire Princess.
Without saying anything more, Katara offered her hand to Azula. The firebender, hesitating for just a moment, finally took it. The warmth of the contact surprised them both, but neither showed it. Without another word, they headed to the festival together, with a smiling and proud Ty Lee following close behind.
The Ascension of Agni was celebrated every year around this time, a tradition Azula had never been interested in following. However, as she walked hand in hand with Katara through the bustling streets of the festival, the firebender wondered if she should have paid more attention to these celebrations. She might have even made a list of all the festivities, just so she could invite Katara to every single one of them.
“We could go to that booth over there,” Katara said with a determined smile, pointing to a stand with carnival games. “I'm sure I'll win something. I'm really good at-”
But Katara stopped mid-sentence when she noticed a chaotic scene nearby: Sokka was choking on a turtle duck leg, while Aang was attempting, without much success, to help him. Without hesitation, Katara let go of Azula’s hand and rushed to her brother’s aid, leaving the princess alone, uninterested in getting involved in the chaos.
“Come on, ‘Zula!” Ty Lee's cheerful voice broke her moment of peace. She appeared right in front of her so suddenly that Azula wasn’t sure if the acrobat had been there the whole time or had just materialized out of nowhere.
“What do you want now?” Azula frowned.
“You have to win something for Katara,” Ty Lee insisted, her contagious smile never fading.
“Me?” Azula raised an eyebrow, clearly confused.
“Of course.”
Azula frowned, and Ty Lee grabbed her face with both hands, pulling her closer. “You have to win something for her, and then you can ask her on a date.”
Azula blushed furiously and squeaked, “What?!”
“Am I wrong?” Ty Lee asked, getting even closer, leaving Azula too close to her face so she can see how she wasn’t playing.
Azula stared at her in silence, unable to deny what Ty Lee was suggesting. Finally, she sighed, defeated. “No, I suppose not.”
Ty Lee squeezed her friend’s face, satisfied with the response. However, just as she was about to free Azula’s face, Sokka’s voice interrupted them. “Katara! Where are you going?”
Both girls turned to see where Sokka was pointing and saw Katara walking away from the festival, casting a quick glance in their direction before disappearing into the crowd. Azula frowned, puzzled by Katara’s behavior, while Ty Lee took a few seconds to realize what the waterbender might have interpreted.
“Agni, no way!” Ty Lee exclaimed. She immediately let go of Azula’s face and took a step back, alarmed. “You have to go after her, now!”
“What? Why?”
Ty Lee began pushing her forcefully, making her move. “Because she clearly misunderstood the situation!”
“What situation?” Azula asked, growing more confused.
Ty Lee looked at her exasperatedly. “Azula, I was grabbing your face and practically glued to you, and you were redder than the Fire Nation flag! What do you think Katara thought?”
Azula’s eyes widened as she realized what Ty Lee meant. “Oh.”
“Exactly!”
“But we weren’t…”
“Precisely.”
“And Katara…?”
“Azula, for Agni’s sake, go after her now!”
Finally, with the situation clear in her mind, Azula bolted after Katara. The festival crowd enveloped her, but Azula pushed forward with determination, her golden eyes desperately scanning for the waterbender among the lights and stalls.
As Azula disappeared into the crowd, Mai approached Ty Lee with her usual bored expression. “Did your plan fail?”
Ty Lee smiled mischievously, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction. “Not at all. Everything’s going perfectly. Just as I planned.”
“Sometimes you scare me,” Mai remarked, crossing her arms as she watched her friend.
“Fire flakes!” Ty Lee suddenly exclaimed, her attention diverted to a nearby stall. Without hesitation, she rushed towards it like an excited child. “You’re paying, Mai!”
Mai sighed and followed her.
Azula had always prided herself on her physical prowess. She trained every day, perfected her agility, and was fast, very fast. Yet for some reason, she hadn’t been able to catch up to Katara before she reached the house. And now here she was, standing in front of the closed door to the waterbender’s room, trying to gather enough courage to face whatever was coming next.
She took a deep breath and knocked on the door with more hesitation than she’d like to admit.
She had to wait a while before Katara finally opened it. Her eyes were red, clearly swollen from crying, which made Azula feel a knot form in her stomach. She’d never felt guilty like this before, but here she was, mentally kicking herself for causing the girl’s distress.
“What are you doing here?” Katara asked, her voice still a little shaky.
Azula, uneasy, tried to soften her expression. “Are you okay?”
“Yes,” Katara answered immediately, but the lie was so obvious that Azula rolled her eyes.
“What are you doing here?” Katara repeated, trying to sound firmer.
With a slight sigh, Azula walked into the room without asking for permission, gently pushing Katara aside as she closed the door behind her. There was no room for formalities or careful words, not when Katara was clearly hurting.
The waterbender didn’t resist. She simply sat down on the bed, arms crossed, watching Azula with a mix of confusion and anger.
“I’ll ask again, what are you doing here?” Katara pressed.
“You’re here,” Azula responded, as if that was reason enough.
“How observant,” Katara replied, sarcastic. Azula noticed how she clenched her jaw, clearly irritated. “If you’re worried about me, don’t be. I’m fine. You can go back to the festival and keep having fun.”
Azula sighed, frustrated. “How am I supposed to have fun if you’re here?”
“You didn’t seem to be suffering with Ty Lee,” Katara shot back, her tone almost bitter.
Azula scoffed. “Katara, there’s nothing between Ty Lee and me.”
“You don’t have to justify yourself to me.”
Azula's frustration hit its breaking point. “For Agni’s sake, Katara! Ty Lee is my friend. That’s all.” But seeing the disbelief in Katara’s eyes, Azula, in a sudden impulse, grabbed her by the shoulders. “I don’t like Ty Lee!”
“You don’t have to—”
Katara tried to pull away, but before she could say anything more, Azula blurted out what she’d been holding in. “I like you! Not her. She was just trying to help me talk to you, encouraging me to win you a prize because…”
Katara, wide-eyed, cut off Azula’s torrent of words, cupping her face in her hands. “Wait, what did you just say?”
Azula went silent, completely frozen. She could feel Katara’s hands holding her face while those blue eyes stared deeply into hers, trying to process what she had just heard. Slowly, Katara’s face began to flush a soft pink, matching the blush Azula had worn since she started speaking.
“You like me?” Katara asked, genuine surprise in her voice.
Azula nodded slowly, still with her face between the waterbender’s hands.
“Me?” The disbelief in Katara’s tone was palpable.
Azula raised an eyebrow. “Is it really that hard to believe?”
Katara lowered her hands, looking at her with a mix of confusion and something else Azula couldn’t quite identify. “Is this some kind of joke? Something cruel?”
Azula frowned, hurt by the insinuation. “Why would I joke about this?”
“I don’t know… but it seems less strange than the idea that you like me.”
Azula looked directly at her, her tone becoming more sincere. “Katara, you’re incredible. What don’t you get? You’re smart, strong, gorgeous…”
Katara looked at her, surprised. “You’re serious, you really like me.”
“You do realize you’re the only one from your group I ever invited anywhere, right?”
Katara blinked, processing that revelation. “Really?”
“Why is it so hard for you to accept?”
“Because… I don’t know. You’re you. You’re so… beautiful, smart, confident. I didn’t think that… well, that you could also…”
Azula stared at her, processing what Katara had just said. “Wait. You like me too?”
Katara looked at her in surprise. “Wasn’t it obvious? I ran off because I thought you and Ty Lee… you know.”
Azula remained silent for a moment, “You like me?”
Katara blushed again, but this time there was no doubt in her response. “Yes.”
Both of them stood in silence, staring at each other intensely. The air between them was charged, each passing second heightening the tension. Finally, Katara broke the silence, her lips curling into a slight smile. “I’m going to kiss you, okay?”
Azula swallowed nervously, unable to tear her gaze away from Katara. “Okay.”
Katara nodded, as if she was also gathering her courage. “Good.”
“Good.”
“I’m going to do it.”
And, without further warning, Katara gently took Azula’s face and slowly brought her lips closer to hers. At first, it was a soft, almost timid touch, but the moment their lips met, something clicked. What started as a hesitant gesture quickly became something more intense. Katara’s hands, which had started by gently caressing Azula’s cheeks, slid to the back of her head, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss.
Azula quickly gave in. Her body responded to the heat of the moment. She placed a hand on Katara’s waist, pulling her closer, as their lips moved with passion. It was as if all the tension that had built up between them over weeks, maybe months, was unleashed in that instant.
The kiss, which had begun slowly, grew increasingly voracious. Katara’s hands tangled in Azula’s dark hair, while the firebender surrendered to the moment, savoring the warmth of the waterbender’s lips.
Azula and Katara were the last to arrive at breakfast, but both were wearing grins that stretched from ear to ear. Apparently, no one at the table seemed to pay much attention, except for Ty Lee, whose eyes sparkled with intent, scrutinizing every little gesture to confirm her plan had worked. The two sat together, with Azula next to Ty Lee and Katara next to Aang, who quickly pulled her into an animated conversation.
Ty Lee didn’t care at all about that conversation. She stared intently at Azula, a mischievous smile playing on her lips. Azula, raising an eyebrow, asked in a suspicious tone:
“What’s going on?”
Ty Lee tilted her head with a mock-innocent expression. “Did it work?”
Azula frowned, keeping her cool. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
In a casual move, Azula reached for a piece of fruit. As she did, her tunic shifted slightly, revealing a dark hickey on the lower part of her neck. Ty Lee noticed it immediately and let out a small triumphant sound. Mai, who was sitting nearby, was the only other person to notice, and after a brief glance, she sighed.
“I won,” Ty Lee murmured, a victorious gleam in her eyes.
Mai, not lifting her gaze from her tea, responded in her usual monotone, feigning enthusiasm. “Congratulations.”
Azula raised an eyebrow at her friend when Ty Lee said, “Looks like you had a good night, huh?”
Azula blushed slightly as she peeled the fruit, trying to avoid going into details. “How much was the bet?”
“A lot,” Ty Lee replied, the same bright excitement in her eyes.
Azula remained skeptical. “Are you sure?”
Ty Lee paused for a moment before admitting, “Okay, maybe not that much. But you two were driving me crazy! You obviously liked each other and did nothing about it. It was infuriating!”
“I see.”
“No, seriously,” Ty Lee added, leaning in toward Azula, “You should give me something in thanks, you know, for helping make it happen.”
“Right.”
At that moment, Katara, who had been talking to Aang, turned toward Azula and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek before saying goodbye, as she was heading off with the Avatar somewhere.
Azula couldn’t help the goofy smile that spread across her face as she felt Katara’s kiss. When she glanced back at Ty Lee, the latter was smiling at her with obvious satisfaction.
“Well?” Ty Lee asked teasingly. “Still think you don’t owe me anything?”
Azula, with a half-smile, muttered, “Maybe.”
At hearing this acceptance, Ty Lee leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms behind her head with a triumphant air. “The best matchmaker in all the nations, baby!”
“Oh, you think so?” Mai asked dryly. “Where is your girlfriend?”
Ty Lee pouted, puffing out her cheeks in defeat. “I hate you.”
Mai simply rolled her eyes and refocused on her tea, while Azula stifled a small laugh and popped a piece of fruit into her mouth really thankful for Ty Lee matchmaker skills even though she will never be honest about it.
