Aventurine, a long-time emetophobe, discovers that within Penacony’s sweet dream his phobia is largely relieved. He proceeds to be an idiot about this fact, and get himself into an extremely embarrassing predicament.

5k words of Aventurine throwing up but the author still can’t say the word vomit. Seriously, the word doesn’t appear once in the entire fic. Putting it in the tags and summary made me shudder. I’m an emetophobe, writing this was some twisted combination of exposure therapy, venting, and desperate fantasy. I hope the emetophiles enjoy this and my fellow emetophobes get the same kind of weird catharsis that I do out of seeing it portrayed in such a positive light. This was inspired by that man in the slot machine area of Golden Hour who won’t stop throwing up but weirdly seems to be enjoying himself.
