Sun stretches as he walked to the cafeteria, they’ve all been on this spaceship for months, their mission is to find habitable planets and prepare them for colonies. Sun smiles as he enters the cafeteria and finds the Bloodmoon twins both excitedly eating pancakes, while talking to Earth who is busy serving up the other breakfasts, “good morning” Sun spoke as he came to sit next to the twins, both the twins perked up at hearing and seeing him, “good morning Sun, here’s your breakfast” Earth spoke cheerful as she hands him a plate of pancakes, “thanks Earth” Sun spoke, before he could eat the pancakes he noticed the twins eyeing the strawberries on his pancakes, he laughs a bit before placing the strawberries on their plates, they patiently wait before start eating the strawberries given to them, “thank you Sun! You are best!” One spoke excitedly, “yes yes the best, the best!” The other spoke happily. Sun smiles.
The cafeteria was peaceful as everyone ate their breakfast, Sun is reading a book before he has to start working, the twins had already started their jobs of cleaning up, Sun feels Eclipse, the captain of the spaceship, sit next to him. “Hey Sun~” Eclipse spoke, Sun immediately knows why Eclipse is next to him and talking to him, it’s no secret the captain for whatever reason wants to date Sun, Sun simply ignores him most times but this time he can’t especially when Eclipse starts whispering about inappropriate not safe for work things he would do with him to Sun. “Eclipse, this is very inappropriate of you, you’re the captain and we all have a job to do, how about you focus on your job” Sun spoke, gritting his teeth before getting up and preparing to get to work. Little did Sun know, something terrible would be happening today.
When Sun came back out in his space suit he heard Miku and Puppet arguing about something, Sun rushes to try and help with stopping the impending fight. “Hey! Hey! Girls calm down! Why are you two fighting?!” Monty shouts as Sun enters the cafeteria once again, “she wants to tear apart our only connection to headquarters!” Puppet shouts accusingly while pointing at Miku, “I said the electrical components need repairing!” Miku shouted back, “ok you two how about we both calm down ok? No one is tearing into anything, ok? Now let’s calm down and get to work!” Sun spoke, interrupting the fight the best he can, Puppet and Miku growl at each other before walking away from each other, “Miku! If you touch my shit I’ll kill you, hear me!” Puppet shouts before leaving to go to her room to change, “not if I kill you first!” Miku shouted back before going to electrical, as she is all ready for work. Sun sighs as everyone looks around a bit concerned about their threats.
Sun hums as he prunes plants in the greenhouse, he startles as he hears a noise, Sun turns to see the twins standing behind him, “oh it’s you two” Sun spoke as he puts down his pruners, “I’m guessing you two are done with all your jobs so far?” Sun asks as he goes over to a basket of strawberries as the twins nod excitedly “yes yes all the mess!” They both spoke at the same time, Sun chuckles a bit before handing them a handful of strawberries each.
The twins follow Sun around the greenhouse as Sun does his duties but soon they all hear a horrified scream, Sun startles, he looks to the twins who look frightened by the scream, “come on you two, let’s go see what’s wrong” Sun spoke gently as he holds their hands and rush to where the scream came from.
It came from electrical, outside of electrical Eclipse and Moon are stopping anyone from entering, Earth is outside sobbing as Monty tries to calm her down, Puppet and Solar have just arrived much like Sun and the twins. “What’s going on?” Sun asked in panic before he noticed, Earth’s shoes are covered in blood and so is the floor inside electrical, “w-where’s Miku?” Sun asked scared before Lunar comes out from electrical wearing full hazmat, “Moon, I need you to get a body bag from medical” Lunar spoke to Moon as quietly as possible. Moon nods before rushing off to medical, Lunar turns to everyone else before whispering to Eclipse about checking the cameras, Lunar clears his throat before speaking “Miku is dead” he spoke quickly, everyone but Earth gasps in shock, Earth just starts crying more.
“But how? Are you sure?” Sun spoke in shock, Lunar waited for Monty to lead Earth away before speaking, Monty glares at Puppet as he walks past her, “half her body is missing, I tried checking everywhere for the other half” Lunar spoke once Earth was out of ear shot, “i-impossible!” Sun stutters before trying to go in to see for himself but he is stopped by the twins clinging on to him “Sun, w-we’re scared!” One spoke while crying, “d-don’t go in!” The other spoke while also crying, Sun decides to stay out and comfort the scared and confused twins.
“So…top suspect is Puppet” Eclipse spoke while pacing in front of everyone in the cafeteria, “I told you I didn’t do it!” Puppet shouted at Eclipse, “Don’t fucking yell at the captain!” Monty shouted back “you literally threatened to fucking kill her!” Monty shouts again, Sun is sitting down covering the twins audio receptors from the shouting and cursing, many of them know the twins are most likely mentally children and Sun can’t help but try to shelter them from this horrible situation. Sun looks up from soothing the twins as Eclipse slams all four of his hands on a table, “that is enough arguing you two!” Eclipse yelled, making Monty and Puppet shrink into their seats.
“Moon checked the security footage, no one entered or exited except for Miku, and we all know Puppet is too big to fit in those vents, so it couldn’t have been Puppet, not to mention, Puppet has no blood on their clothes and none of their clothes do, so we are stuck on who did it” Eclipse explains as he paces back and forth more. Sun’s brows furrowed, “Lunar was with me and Moon the entire time” Eclipse spoke deep in thought “and the twins were far too distressed and upset for it to be them, not to mention they seem to have been around Sun since they finished their cleaning jobs of the day” Eclipse seems baffled on who it could be before he shakes his head, “we are to all be cautious till we can figure this out” Eclipse demanded.
Monty slams his fists down on the table, causing the table to break and to startle everyone, “ITS CLEARLY PUPPET WHO IS THE KILLER!! SHE LITERALLY THREATENED TO KILL MIKU!!” Monty shouted in rage “I DIDNT KILL MIKU!!” Puppet shouted back trying to defend herself, “ SHUT UP!! Eclipse, if you don’t deal with Puppet now I will take matters into my own hands!” Monty threatened before storming off to his room. Eclipse scowls “you are all free to go rest for the rest of the day while Lunar, Moon and myself clean up electrical while trying to find more evidence” before he left with Moon and Lunar.
Sun shakily got up from where he was sitting, “Sun we don’t want to be alone in our room!” One twin spoke while hugging Sun, “yes yes! What if the killer c-comes for you! Or us!” The other spoke almost crying, Sun sighs and soothes them both “you both can come to my room” Sun spoke as he lifted both the twins with some difficulty, Sun stops when he notices Earth crying, “Earth, do you want to join us in my room? We can watch some Barbie movies” Sun spoke with a kind smile, Earth nods before wiping her tears away the best she could and getting up to follow Sun.
