She had no idea who picked it - just that it was ridiculous. Taking her time, she looked at her picture.
She used to smile for the pictures and actually try to seem like the kind of kid you wanted. When she hit 15, she stopped smiling all together. If you put her 14 year old picture next to her 15 year old picture, you’d never think they were the same person. But six homes in one year can do that to you.
