it’s been years since i first read this and it’s still as brilliantly awful and fucked up now as it was then...i love the splices of dreams and hallucinations between the downspiral gilgamesh is on. plus while i like kotogil as "fucked up people who make each other worse", there is something so irresistible about the idea of gilgamesh unleashing a cruelty that he himself is not safe from and scrambling to maintain the illusion of control
