Saiki K's Bizarre Internship

Summary:

Saiki sees a bug while with his "friends", Nendo and Kaidou, and accidentally teleports the three of them to the My Hero Academia universe. They get mistaken for the transfer students that were supposed to arrive that day, and basically just all bond with class 1A as they go through training and even some villain fights (dark reunion??!!). This is mostly just going to be a fun little fanfic, but it'll get more serious/developed as I go on. (this is my first fic I've written and im not also the best writer so please go easy on me!!)

Notes:

This isn't really a serious fic (yet..?), since I really don't have an idea of where this is going, so I'm just going with the flow. This is basically just a fun little writing thing I'm doing, since I like to just imagine this stuff in general, and I'm just putting it into words.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter 1: chapter 1

Chapter Text

I’m too lazy to write this part but the gist of it is that Saiki saw a bug, got scared, and then accidentally teleported him and his friends to a random city in the mha universe.

“Um.. Saiki…where are we…” Kaidou whined, holding on tightly to Saiki’s school uniform, his knees wobbly. Saiki didn’t say anything, just looked around, observing his surroundings. Thank god Nendo isn’t here, Saiki thought.

“Hey buddy look! This person has scissors for a head!”

God damn it

Kaidou squealed in horror as Nendo was playfully touching the pedestrian’s unusual head. The stranger was trying to swat him off, yelling at him to stop touching him. But Nendo was too into the fact that whenever they talked, the scissors on their head opened and shut, laughing whenever the scissor-man let out a protest.

Kaidou hurried over to Nendo and dragged him off the man, uttering terrified apologies and begging him not to cut them into pieces.

“This must be a work of dark reunion… , don’t worry Saiki, I’ll get us out of here.” Kaidou said, suspectfully eyeing the strange looking people walking by them.

Suddenly, another pedestrian passed by, half cockroach half man, and Saiki screamed in terror. This was even worse than the bug he just saw earlier. In horror, he teleported them again, this time appearing in what seemed like a classroom.

“You must be the new intern students.” came a voice behind them. Kaidou squealed again, and whipped around with the rest of them to see a strange man, wearing goggles and a long, white scarf.

“I’m Nendo, and these are my pals Kai-” Nendo started, before his mouth was abruptly covered by Kaidou.

“Don’t tell him who we are! He might be a member of the dark reunion… ” Kaidou whispered, eyeing the man.

One of the classmates spoke up, “who is this league you refer to as the dark reunion… ?” The teen had dark, blue hair and glasses, and he moved in somewhat robotic motions.

Oh lord, here it comes, Saiki thought.

Kaidou turned again, this time his wrapped hands clutched to his chest. “I’m glad you asked. The dark reunion… is an evil group of villains with terrible powers that are in an effort to take over the world! They have been around for many centuries, but luckily, with me and the Jet Black Wings, we are going to take them down with our awesome power!!!” Kaidou ranted triumphantly.

The whole class looked horrified, and a curly, green haired student broke the silence. “Why haven’t we heard about this villain group, this is terrible!”

“I agree,” Kaidou said solemnly, “But luckily the Jet Black Wings will save you all with our overpowered selves…”

“I think this guy is bullshitting.” Some blond kid in the back cackled, his legs on the table.

“Kacchan! Why would he lie about this! Maybe it's some sort of American version of the League of Villains!” The green haired kid retaliated.

We’re not from America.” Saiki clarified.

“If your power is so great, why don’t you come and fight me, you extra!” ‘Kacchan’ challenged.

“No fighting in the classroom, you can settle this somewhere else.” The teacher demanded.

“I would love to fight you, Kacchan, but my powers are locked right now inside of these bandages, and if I fight you right now…you might die.” Kaidou replied, Nendo snickering in the background as the students gasped.

“All right, we are leaving,” Saiki communicated, grabbing both of his classmates by their arms and heading towards the door. He used his telekinesis to fling open the oversized door, but it was blocked by a spiky, red haired kid.

“You can’t leave yet! The school day has just started! A true man doesn’t skip classes.” he boasted. Saiki groaned, and turned on his heel to sit down in an empty seat, as his “friends” did the same.

While it was lame going to school, anything was better than back home at his school. Also, this could be interesting, and the two people with him were so stupid that they wouldn’t question anything. He can just brainwash them into thinking it was a dream later, or delete this memory entirely. Anyways, he’s never been around this many powered kids, maybe they’ll be someone who understands him and his situation.

Apparently, Kaidou’s talk of the dark reunion… and the Jet Black Wings had piqued the class’ interest, since Saiki could hear their minds littered with the worried thought of the “evil group” or impressed by Kaidou’s apparent powerful “quirk”, as they called it.

Occasionally, a classmate would lean over and ask a question about Kaidou’s fantasies, and he would joyfully answer all of their questions thoroughly. This was probably Kaidou’s idea of heaven.

Nendo was also being questioned, but not as much as his friend. A majority of the class was scared of him, and wouldn’t dare to look in his direction.

The few who did talk to them were greeted with probably the stupidest answer possible.

“Hey Nendo, where are you from?”

“My house,” he replied.

“Yes we know that, but where is your house located?”

“My neighborhood.”

“I give up.”

Saiki however, was also being tortured by questions, and apparently his curse of people taking a liking to him also was happening here. There’s no escape, he thought to himself, groaning.

A very chattery teen was sitting next to him, and was asking him nonstop questions. He couldn’t teleport away now, unfortunately, since for one, his friends were spaced far apart from him, and he needed to grab onto them to bring them along, and two, it was plain rude to leave in the middle of the “school day”. He might be an introvert, but he wasn’t indecent.

So, he was stuck with this green haired kid named Izuku, chattering away, firing question after question, scribbling in his notebook after each answer.

“I was wondering, what are those pink antennas sticking out of your head?”

“Power dampeners.”

“Oh wow! I would understand power boosters, but dampeners? Is your quirk really that out of control that you would need those?”

Yes.”

“I sort of have a problem with my quirk being too out of control too, maybe that would be helpful.”

Maybe.”

“I feel like it would have its downsides though. Like for example, you could become too used to your quirk while it’s dampened, instead of working with it while it’s out of control and adapt to it, you know? Then, when you don’t have the dampeners, you basically can’t do anything, so in theory it would most likely be better just to not have the dampeners and just learn to work with your powers the way they are.”

That wouldn’t work.”

Why not?”

With my powers out of control, I could potentially destroy the planet with a single move. Or worse, the universe.”

Oh…”

It was so nice to have someone to relate to.
