Summary
Glynda isn't content with her life, necessarily, but she's too entrenched to change any of it now. She knows that her devotion to her job will never leave her with enough time for things like dating or having a family, but she's decided to be okay with that. All of the men in her life are terrible, anyway, so it isn't as though she's missing too much.
When she finds herself on an adult forum, a lapse in judgment has her chasing a hookup with a man she doesn't know. But his posting said he's only in town temporarily for work, which reassures her that there isn't any room for things to get complicated or messy.
If only it were ever that easy.
