Hades was both curious and slightly pissed at James for his actions the past previous nights.
He never considered himself a jealous guy but ever since last Wednesday Mr.No Hand has been hanging around his girl, Which Hades wouldn't have minded if it was their little group altogether but it was just James and maleficent together alone!
Tonight was the night that he was going to confront the pirate about his latest behavior. Now Hades was a reasonable deity and probably would let James explain his side or maybe he might just torture the fool instead.
His heavy boots clunked against the sidewalks leading towards the dormitories.
When he arrived at Hook's dorm. Taking a couple minutes to think how he would make an entrance, deciding on a dramatic approach by kicking the door open wide open. Blue hair flaming and using an echoed voice.
"What the hell Hook!"
James stayed looking unfazed then continued to talk to his drommate.While maintaining direct eye contact with Hades. Hook finally decided to speak up. To add insult to injury
it wasn't to the literal god of the underworld but instead to his white haired companion.
"Smee, Would you be so kind as to leave the room so I can talk to our guest on a personal level."
With a nod and wave goodbye smee stumbled away.
"Nice little fellow; A little clumsy, but nice, wouldn't you agree?" Hook said nonchalantly as if his life wasn't at stake.
"So, Let me guess you decided you what to play the jealous boyfriend archetype and come into my humble little dorm to threaten or even kill me on the spot. Well I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but maleficent and I are not seeing each other behind your back." James states with a cocky tone to his voice
" Then what it is?" Hades bit back at the pirate.
" I'm sorry firefly, but if I tell you it will ruin the surprise that you lovely thorn of a girlfriend has set up for you"
" Tell me or else!" Hades yelled getting tired of the games and James smug attitude towards the situation.
James let out an over dramatic sigh "You know you're not fun, but fine I'll let you know what's going on... You're dealing with maleficent when she learns you found out so soon, Anyways maleficent and me plan on a bethrowing."
Hades was taken back by that. He never believed that Hook had it in him to actually oust someone in power."Who exactly are you planning to over throw?"
He questioned.
"Uliana." James announced
Now Hades was shocked that Uliana's top minions was plotting against her. Hades was fully invested in this and had a lot of questions.
"Wait... How?.... Why?."
"Shut up and I'll explain!" James interrupted Hades's list.
"Maleficent is tired of the way Uilana is treating her like a piece of seaweed tangled under her boots. Your lovely girlfriend is secretly getting a group of people together to take her down right before Christmas break. This was going to be a surprise gift for you, but you have to ruin the surprise element." James finished.
That was not good enough, actually it made even more questions in Hades mind.
"Who are the people she enlisted to help and what do you get out of this dethroning?"
" She found a kleptomaniac, some narcissistic princess and crazed wannabe fashion designer.
As for my reasoning to get involved.... let's just say I'm not going into battle like she is but I do have a stake in this."
James answered back.
Hades noticed a subtle shift in his personality when talking about his contribution to maleficent's fight, he decided that it was time for karma for earlier.
"So you hesitated to tell me what it is that you get out of Uilana no longer in power". Hades said confidently knowing that the pirate's swave act is breaking but he wasn't done yet.
"Could it be the fame of taking down the big bad calamari or does it have something to do with a secret that you're hiding?" Hades examining James face revealing it is a secret.
"Spill!" Hades yells half trying to scare Hook into saying it.
"Okay! It's not for the fame Maleficent can have it all, besides by the time the betrayal takes place I'll be on my boat with my crew and...my lover. I just want to be allowed to be with her in public, to hold her as she dances around, I want to be the one that gets to tates test all of the baked goods that she hands out, I want her to be able to run into my arms no matter where we are, and not having to worry about harm coming to her at the hands of Uilana. James explained in a vulnerable tone.
Hades never witnessed this type of vulnerability especially from the dashing pirate.
"You don't have to tell me who she is. Your secret is safe with me and once Uilana is nothing more then a whining brat, I promise to make sure not a soul bothers you and her." Hades said sincerely and kindness looking at Hook as he leaves the dorm.
"Thank you Hades and goodnight my friend." James said with fighting back tears of happiness
" See you tomorrow James" Hades replyed.
And with that the door closed as Hades traveled through the night.
