It was 12pm, Mashiro was at work and like always he was distracted with work as he had more and more work piled up on him, which he didn't mind because he was a bit of an alcoholic, but for some reason he couldn't fully focus on work.
He sighed as he looked down at his wrist leaned smiled as he stared at the bracelet Kang had given him the other day.
The bracelet had two colors, yellow and white, and there were letters on the theard that spelled out 'Kang'.
In the morning, before leaving for work, Mashiro had debated with himself weather or not he should wear the bracelet with him to work or not. He was honestly a bit embarrassed of having such a colorful accessory on him as this wasn't really something that suit a person like him.
Mashiro had seen terrible things. He had seen bloody bodies, someone's guts spilling out of them, etc. He has seen Crush beat and kill people to the point you couldn't even figure out how they looked like before, and then afterwards he had to clean those bodies up.
So this bright and silly bracelet wasn't something that matched a person like Mashiro, but he decided to wear it anyways because he wouldn't have been able to handle seeing Kang upset face and if he is being honest it made him a bit happy to wear it out.
Only a bit tho.
Mashiro played with the bracelet a little as he thought back to yesterday when he arrived home.

Kang had gotten home early from a mission and texted Mashiro teasing him by texting him ' Hehe I'm home before you!!! (*ゝωб*) ' but Mashiro just muted and ignored him for the day.
Mashiro had gotten home around 7pm, which was actually earlier than he usually came home because thankfully not everyone decided to dump paperwork on his desk.
He grabbed his keys out of his pocket and unlocked the door. He has been living together with Kang for a bit already so he knew of Kang habits so it wasn't surprising for him to see Kang working on something at their coffee table.
Mashiro hung his coat and then took his shoes off, he placed his bag on some chair that was pulled out and then sat on the couch watching Kang.
"What are you doing?"
Mashiro leaned over curiously, usually Kang would eagerly start talking or cuddle against Mashiro but he was so concentrated on what he was doing he didn't even say hi to Mashiro.
Kang hummed in response, "It's a secret, I can't tell you!"
Kang smirked in secret as he continued to work on his mini project.
Although Mashiro would probably never admit this outloud, he liked it whenever Kang would cuddle with him. He didn't know why but it would give him a lot of joy.
So as minutes went by it wasn't a surprise that Mashiro was slowly getting annoyed.
"What is the big secret that you're hiding? Are you secretly writing down a plan to kill me?"
Mashiro jokingly said. Mashiro wasn't the best at starting conversations but Kang usually was too busy chatting Mashiro ears off for him to worry about that but this time he had to start the conversation.
"What!!! No!! How could I ever kill my sweet precious cute lovely awesome amazing little boyfriend???" Kang said whining.
Mashiro ears and cheeks flushed red as be heard those words. He was glad that they were alone so that no one had to hear how embarrassing Kang sounded.
Mashiro didn't even know what to after that as he was too embarrassed to continue talking.
Mashiro sighed and leaned back onto the couch. Mashiro finally had some hours to relax as he usually worked for a few more hours than he done today and he also had a lot of work to do recently so he was glad that he could take a bit of a break even though it was for a little bit.
Eventually, without realizing it, he had dozed off.
He had woken up because Kang was shaking him, "hey wake up!" Kang whined
Mashiro slowly opened his eyes and was greeted with the sight of Kang face. He stared at Kang for a bit admiring how beautiful Kang looked for a moment.
"Yes? What is it Kang?"
Mashiro rubbed his eyes pushing his body up from the couch and stretched.
Kang grinned and then turned around to pick something from the coffee table up and hid it behind his back.
"Guess what I have behind my back!!"
Mashiro groaned. He had always hated the guessing game especially when it came to Kang because you never truly knew what he was thinking of.
"A note telling me how much you love me and wish to hug me to death." Mashiro said with sarcasm.
Kang then gasp before saying, "Ah Gosh darn it! I should have done that too.. I'll do it next time!" He said with a cheeky grin.
Mashiro was just joking around and sighed deeply hearing Kang response.
"I was joking idiot.." That just made Kang grin more.
"Well? What is it" Mashiro said a little impatient, he wanted to lie down and just sleep forever but sadly he couldn't do that right now.
Kang took a deep breath before slowly bringing his hands forward.
"3.. 2..1.. Boom!"
Kang then opened his hands and inside of them of his hands were two matching bracelets.
One of them them had the colors yellow and white with the name Kang on it, and the other had black and red with his name on it.
".. Matching bracelets?"
Mashiro was confused for a second, he didn't understand why Kang was showing him this.
Kang sighed, "Matching bracelets for us dummy! It's for us to wear hehe!"
Kang then grabbed Mashiro hand and shoved the yellow and white one into his hands.
"You get the one with my name on it because I'm your boyfriend and I get the one with your name on it because you're my boyfriend!" Kang grinned proudly, clearly proud of himself.
Mashiro was stunned for a moment before smiling.
"Thanks.." He stared at the bracelets with a small smile for a little bit before putting it on. (He only placed it on because Kang was about to burn a hole into his head waiting for him to do it.)
Mashiro had to hold back a chuckle at seeing Kang smile so widely when Mashiro finally decided to put his bracelet on. Maybe the bracelets weren't so bad after all.
Kang then quickly placed his own bracelet onto his wrist and somehow smiled even wider than he was already smiling. He then placed his arm next to Mashiro arm and compared them.
"We're matching now aww! We're so cute" Mashiro was worried for a bit that Kang might explode from happiness with how happy he was.
Mashiro then looked past Kang and saw a diy bracelet kit on the table which had explained on why Kang was so concentrated when he arrived home earlier as he was working on this earlier.
"So you were working on this when I came home? Makes sense on why you didn't immediately cling onto me when I sat down then."
Kang grinned as he hugged Mashiro waist, "Aw was someone upset because I didn't give them any attention?"
Mashiro glared at him.
"No I wasn't. I was relieved in fact when you didn't." Mashiro huffed as he looked away from Kang.
"Ohhh so you won't mind if I stop clinging onto you everytime you come home since that's basically what you're saying." Kang smirked as he teased Mashiro.
"I never said that.." Mashiro mumbled under his breath as he looked down.
"Hm? I didn't hear you~" Kang teased.
"I said I never said that you needed to stop!" Mashiro raised his voice as his face flushed red so Kang would hear him.
Kang was quiet for a moment before squealing, "Awww!!! You're so cute Mashiro, give me a kiss!" Kang then tried kiss Mashiro face
"Ugh no get away!" Mashiro said pushing Kang back and blushed even more.

Mashiro smiled softly as he remembered what happened yesterday, it was fun. He wished they could be like that everyday.
He played with the bracelet slightly and thought of Kang smiling at him as he arrived home before quickly continuing his work so he could leave hopefully early once again.
Soon it was time for Mashiro to leave it was early like yesterday and he never knew he was capable of leaving work so fast as he did just now. He really wanted to see Kang right now, he didn't know why he just missed him a lot.

Mashiro took his keys out, unlocked the door and entered.
Before he could even take his shoes off after he closed the door, he was met with Kang in front of the door and immediately had him hugging him.
"I missed you so much!!!! I was thinking about you all day while I worked hehe!"
Mashiro had to catch his breath before responding, "That's nice but please let me take my shoes off before you hug me so tightly.. please.."
Kang just whined in response to that before letting go.
He truly was lucky to have someone as loveable as Kang as his partner.
