Summary
“I… I might have a solution,” a new voice said, the two Jedi glanced back to see a small girl standing behind Ahsoka. She walked down the catwalk, Scipian markings donning her forehead, padawan braid swaying from the back of her head.
“How many kids are hiding in that ship?” Anakin asked exasperatedly,
“It’s just us,” Ahsoka said,
“So who might you be?” Obi-Wan asked,
“My name is Esinon,”
When Obi-Wan requests a new padawan at the beginning of the war, he assumed that it would be similar to raising Anakin. Instead he's faced with Esinon Windcaster, a young girl, with intense force abilities, but poor control over them. Esinon is so much different than Anakin. When Anakin had been his padawan it was always a fight. Tantrums and headaches from screaming matches had been a constant at the beginning of their partnership. But Esinon isn't like that. She never argues with him, and is always so painfully quiet. Not like Anakin, who had always spoken his mind and told him exactly what he was thinking.
But Obi-Wan's determined to teach Esinon everything he knows, even if it happens to be in a warzone.
