It's that time of the month where all the Hermits (who want to) go to one Hermit's base and have a giant sleepover/snuggle pile.
This month Pearl volunteered, having turned her spare room into one big nest, full of as meany blankets, pillows, and soft things she could find.
Some Hermits are already there, but some still are coming in to join in on the snuggles.
Grian brings in a box of gummy packets, placing them in the middle of the nest with all the other snacks the Hermits brought.
Scar walks up behind him (almost falling from the uneven surface of the nest), wraping his arms around Grian, pulling him close, "Hi there."
"Scar." Grian says, "What are you doing?"
"Hmm." Scar hums, "I don't know." He says before tightening his arms, carrying Grian over to where he was sitting with Mumbo next to him.
He sits down, halving Grian sitting in his lap.
The avian tries to get out of his arms, but Scar tightens them.
Mumbo laughs, wrapping his arms around Scar and Grian.
Grian gives up, relaxing into their arms, "I don't think i like you two."
"Mmn." Mumbo hums, "And why would you lie to us?"
Grian roles his eyes fondly, enjoying the embrace of his friends.
Impulse walks over to where Zed and Skizz are already sitting.
He sits down between them, but Skizz pulls him into his lap before pulling Zed closer.
"Hhhey." Impulse laughs, "what was that for?"
"Do you not want snuggles?" Skizz asks.
"I want them." Impulse says.
"Then be quiet." Zed says.
"Wheres Tango though." Impulse asks.
"He is sitting by himself for some reason." Skizz answers.
Impulse looks over and it indeed does look like the blazeborn is sitting alone, a bunch of blankest wrapped around him.
"Hey Top, why don't you come over." Skizz asks.
"No." A very not Tango voice says from where Tango sits.
Tango's face turns red.
"Who was that?" Zed asks.
Tango pulls the blankets back, showing the canary avian curled up leaning into his side, arms wrapped around his middle.
"How did Jimmy get here?" Impulse asks.
"Xisuma-?" Tango says, voice high.
"Tango asked if I could let Jimmy in for the snuggle piles." Xisuma says.
The admin is laying down, helmet off (Pearl had to install a void air pump into this room for Xisuma so it puts a special percent of void air into the room, but wont hurt anyone else), Keralis lays behind him, Xisuma's head in his lap as he plays with the admins' hair, Xb leans on Keralis' shoulder, "And I said okay."
"Alright." Impulse says, "Tango you can come over."
"I want to, but..."
"No." Jimmy repeats.
"Ah yes." Bdubs says, "The clingy boyfriend."
"You say that like your not." Etho chukels.
"I'm not the clingy one." Bdubs says, "Joel is." He says glaring at the horse killer Etho is brushing the hair of.
"I'm not bluming clingy." Joel says, rolling his eyes as his boyfriend's statement.
"Your both clingy my duds." Ren says from where he is being snuggled by Doc.
Doc has the dog hybrid pulled to his chest with both arms, chin resting on Ren's shoulder, purring happily.
Ren's tail thumps on the blankets next to them, happily.
Joel roles his eyes as Etho braids his hair, "Are we going to ignore Iskall and the whole song thing?"
"I can be clingy." Iskall admits, "But your you, and why would I not be?" they ask, pressing a kiss to Joel's cheek.
The five girls of the severs are all laying together in a mix of limbs, wings, and blankets.
The only one completely engulfed in the pile in Cleo who has not their legs in the pile. The rest of her is covered by a blanket covered in flowers one of the other girls throw over them. She is laying on her side, Joe wrapped in her arms like a kid and their favorite stuffed animal, but instead it's a adult zombie with a living Muppet in her arms.
Nobody can tell is Joe is asleep or not, but his googly eye like eyes are points to the ground like he is. Nobody can tell. That's just the Joe Hill difference.
There are more for them snuggling together, but I think we should leave them be as it's getting late, eyes are closing, breaths evening out and Hermit's snuggling together to sleep.

We are done watching for now
