12-12-XXXX
My name is Lyney Snezhevich. I am 23 years old and I'm a part-time magician and full-time student at Teyvat University. I'm a student in the Fontaine department, my track is Arts and Design and I major in theatre arts. I am the son and heir of the Knave. I have a twin sister named Lynette and a little brother named Freminet. Lynette is also my classmate and Freminet is entering his senior year in high school.
Recently, I survived a suicide attempt. My therapist suggested I write a diary. This diary will be locked with a key that only Father will know about. I can't have Lynette and Freminet reading about this.
My therapist is Dr. Thoma and he suggested I begin talking about my struggles so that I can monitor my progress, so I guess I'll start with the attempt. I wanted to jump into a frozen river under Sta. Focalors Bridge. Well, it's not as dramatic as it sounds. Someone talked me out of it. I didn't catch his name, but he stayed with me at the bridge and bought me coffee. He was really pretty. I think I've seen him at school before, I'm not quite sure.
12-13-XXX
I found my savior's account. His name is Kinich from the Natlan section of TeyvU. He's one of the six honor students and his rank is "Malipo", I believe. So he's pretty smart I guess. He's also good at gymnastics and extreme sports.
I remember him now. When I performed as an opening act for the theatre and cooking clubs' "5-Day Career Bazaar" three months ago, he passed out after the show. It was in the hallway, I believe. Heart attack, most likely. At least, that's what his friend Mualani told me. As the host of the show, I was obligated to know. Her words, not mine.
I find it kind of strange that a person with a weak heart likes to indulge in sports that spike their adrenaline. Heard he has pancreatic cancer too.
And here I am wallowing over my own feelings.
Looks like this diary will be about him for a while. I don't mind. Gets my head off of things.
12-14-XXXX
I met up with him today. Well, sort of. The sports club and theatre club have a joint project for the New Year Ball. Something about mixing magic with contemporary dance, gymnastics, and a little bit of Romeo and Juliet. But our president, Venti, wanted to spice things up a bit. Both Romeo and Juliet will be played by men, one from the sports club and the other from our club. Auditions are today. None of the guys in the sports club wanted to join in and Venti looked really close to dropping the idea.
I think it was the look of obvious disappointment on his face that convinced the other club to volunteer someone, but a girl named Amber practically shoved Kinich onto the stage with a script right in his hands. She looked pretty proud of herself for doing that.
I guess he got the role by default. He looked like he really didn't want to do this but seeing as Venti looked really happy, he said nothing. Auditions for Juliet (now named Julio apparantly) start tomorrow. I kinda want to get the role now, hehe ;)
