“ The android’s LED whirred yellow as the self-driving cab rumbled down the road. It—or, rather he, was running diagnostics, looking over prior information, learning about the current case—this was his first one, after all. A family's android had gone deviant, murdering the father in his sleep before sneaking to the son’s room, making a ruckus of taking the boy and fleeing to the roof. There wasn’t much more information given to him yet—he'd have to analyze the crime scene to figure out the intricacies—but it didn’t seem to be anything he couldn’t handle. Eventually, the cab slowed to a stop, to which the android finally opened its eyes, LED swirling into a bright blue. The door slid open, the android turning his head curtly before stepping out of the vehicle.”
