3rd Person POV 03/12/2016
It had been exactly 3 hours since Saiki took his life and was pronounced dead.
Everyone was devastated. They were all at Saiki's place, mourning his loss by crying and begging whoever they believed in to bring him back.
The most broken, yet the one who showed it the least, was Kaidou. Saiki was his first friend. The first person he liked and looked up to. He was gone.
Teruhashi, Chiyo, Mikoto, and Mera were huddled in a circle, bawling their eyes out. Aren, Hairo, and Toritsuka were talking to each other but kept cutting themselves off with sobs, Nendou wasn't there since he was out getting Ramen, clueless of what's happening, and Saiki's parents were sitting on the couch, hugging and sobbing hysterically.
Kaidou glanced around the room before leaning back. He looked calm. Aren glanced over at Kaidou before wiping his eyes.
"Shun...?"
Kaidou didn't respond.
"Shun?" Aren repeated, getting up and going over to Kaidou. Kaidou snapped out of his thoughts.
"Huh? Oh, yeah?"
"Are you okay?" His voice was laced with worry and concern. "You haven't said anything since we found out..."
Kaidou stared at him before looking at Toritsuka. He looked at the ground.
"Just thinking..."
Aren sighed and patted his head, which led Kaidou to slap his wrist away. "Don't."
Aren sighed. "I'll give you some time to think..." Aren sniffled as he got up and went back over to the boys.
Kaidou leaned back and went into thought again. He thought for a moment. Thinking came easy to him. He did it everyday. Normally it was Dark Reunion stuff. But today...
Kaidou glanced at Toritsuka, who just so happened to look his way. Kaidou tilted his head, motioning for Toritsuka to follow him as he got up and walked to a different room. Toritsuka didn't question it as he followed.
Kaidou glanced at Toritsuka. "You see ghosts, right?"
Toritsuka nodded.
"Where's Saiki right now?"
Toritsuka looked around. "Right here." Toritsuka waved his arm in a specific spot next to him.
"Where did they say his body was?"
Toritsuka seemed surprised. "His room?"
"Bring Saiki up there. I wanna try something." Kaidou stormed upstairs as Toritsuka chased after him.
Everyone else seemed confused on what they were doing but they ignored it.
Kaidou cringed as he stared down at Saiki's poorly bandaged and dead body. Kurumi and Kuniharu had tried to stop the blood coming from the stab wound on his heart but they failed. Kaidou raised his arm and undid his bandages, revealing a black and red bracelet.
Toritsuka raised an eyebrow. "What's that?"
Kaidou took it off and threw it to the side. "Questions later."
He placed his hand on Toritsuka's shoulder. Saiki was floating there, staring at the two with a hint of confusion in his eyes.
Kaidou pointed to his dead body. "Please sit by your body."
Saiki hesitated, but sat next to his body. Kaidou forced Toritsuka to sit down so he could still see Saiki's ghost. Saiki seemed confused.
"How can you see me?" Saiki questioned. Kaidou hummed.
"Like I said, questions later." Kaidou placed his hand on Saiki's body's chest.
Saiki looked like he was gonna say something but he didn't.
A red glow was all Saiki saw before his vision ultimately went black.
When Saiki opened his eyes again, he noticed something. He was in pain. He was on his bed. He was interacting with physical objects.
He sat up, realizing.
He's alive.
He looked around before noticing Kaidou on the ground, leaning against the bed.
Saiki gulped. He reached down and shook Kaidou's shoulder. No response.
He got off the bed, slightly grunting in pain. He picked Kaidou's limp head up. His hands felt around his face, noticing he was burning up.
Saiki sighed before his eyes widened.
His hands traveled to his neck and felt around for a pulse.
Nothing.
Saiki felt himself start to shake as he frantically looked for any sign of life in the shorter male.
Nothing.
Saiki tried to give him mouth to mouth, but it was pointless.
It was all pointless.
His crush was gone because of him.
He didn't know how much of this he could take.
He might join him despite his efforts.
