    Shun smoothed down his hair, then ruffled it up, then smoothed it again.

    "You've got this, Shun!" He said to the tiny mirror on his car's sunshade. "It's just your first day of work! At your own dad's restaurant. Where you constantly run the risk of disappointing him even more than you already do. Crap, I'm doomed!"

    Shun Kaidou, 18, is fresh out of high school and working at his father's restaurant with only one piece of advice from his old man; stay away from Aren Kuboyasu. Shun goes against his father's warning, wanting a taste of agency over his own life. It also doesn't hurt that this 'Aren' happens to be alluring both in personality and appearance.

    But as the two grow closer, Shun learns that he knows nothing of the life he lives, of the world he's surrounded by. He is catapulted into Aren's world, learning much more about Aren, himself, and the lies he's built his life on.
