Summary
After the curtain fell on the tumultuous tale of Oz, a new era dawned. Fiyero and Elphaba, the so-called, star-crossed lovers, vanished into the unknown leaving Glinda the Good Witch of the North, new ruler of Oz, to believe them both dead. All that time of being around Elphaba, of living with her, pretending to loathe her but still respecting her, caring for her, wanting to be her, craving to be with her but being too cowardice to act on it... of the jealousy she felt when Elphaba choose Fiyero, of regret, of thinking she was dead, of letting her die alone… she vowed to make Oz great again for Her.
As the years passed and the shadows began lifting, a different kind of magic stirred in the hearts of the two old friends. They found their way back to each other, relieved to find the spark of friendship still burned bright. But as they looked into each other’s eyes, they saw something more--a deeper connection that went beyond words. Had it always been there?
However, their reunion is tainted by a hidden truth: Elphaba was still with Fiyero, entangled with him in a web of obligations and loyalty.
