Work Text:
“It’s crooked.”
Aether climbed down the ladder. “This would be easier if you hung the lights up, Paimon.”
“Why?”
“…Because you can fly.”
She stuffed another cookie into her mouth. “Paimon’s busy.”
He snatched the tin away from her. One left.
“Hey!”
“I deserve this more.”
“Paimon worked hard too!”
He surveyed the lights strung around the teapot’s house. Very… “Crooked.”
“Told you so.” She reached for the final cookie.
He devoured it.
“No!” The tin’s bottom shone. Empty. “Go buy another!”
“I would, but I have to fix the lights. If only someone could help. But…”
“Ugh, fine! Gimme.”
