It was perfect, today was finally turning out to be amazing! Rin may have started it out roughly bad with a fight but he was given a job at the nearby supermarket from his cooking! He told yukio about it over the phone and was even going to have sukiyaki! Until..
"Stop!" A girl cried out while rin walked out of the phone booth, looking to the parking lot he had saw a girl running after a scarf "please give it back!" Was she asking the wind to give her back her scarf? Whatever, he shrugged his shoulders before stepping in front, catching the scarf and holding it out to the girl "here, I guess this is yours" he said with a smile before watching as the wind picked back up, slowly a green monkey thing made its self visible before taking off while the scarf and running into the store "hey! Come back here!" He yelled, beginning to chase
Bumping into stands, shelf, and even people he apologized before turning an isle, how did that girl get there so quick?! She was just standing infront of the stack of boxes filled with cans while the monkey jumped up, swinging left to right and causing the stack to tumble and the boxes to open, releasing the cans. With enough speed he was able to get over the girl, holding her down as each can fell onto him, mostly on his head. They hurt like bitches.
"Yuii!" A woman shouted, passing through people and running over, lifting her daughter to watch the blood stain on her head, yet it wasn't hers, she didn't get hit by any can "oh my God, yuii!" She shouted before looking up, her eyes going wide as rin stared eye wide, having yet to notice the blood dripping down, matting his hair and covering his face, even as his vision swarmed he reached out, trying to calm the frighten woman but his vision went black as his eyes rolled back and he dropped to the floor only hearing the woman cry for someone to call for an ambulance before he succumbed to the black void

At home the priest men and yukio waited at the dinning table, eyes closed, arms crossed, and heads down "maybe he's just running la-" before yukio could finish his words the house phone went off, yukio rushed with getting up, almost tripping on the chair as he rushed into the kitchen picking up the phone and bringing it to his ear "hello? Rin?"
"Hello, this is true cross hospital, we were wondering if we could speak to Shirou fujimoto?" The man on the other line asked "of course! Dad! It's true cross hospital" as he said that shirou walked into the kitchen with a small nod before grabbing the phone "hello?...what." shirous eyes widened before he gave his conformation and placed the phone back on the wall "rin was brought to the hospital for an injury that happened at work"
"But he was fine just a while ago?!" Yukio said, he was immediately worried, what the hell happened to his brother to land him in the hospital?!

The beeping was loud, annoying. But comforting to know that rins heart was still going while he was out, the entire church had visited but rin hadn't woken for hours, apparently he had lost to much blood from being hit in the head with cans, cans. Yukio groaned as he rested his face in his plams, using them to rub his eyes while shirou leaned back in the uncomfortable plastic chair
Rin had protected a child from getting a worse injury than he did but without him awake they would know if something had pushed the boxes or if they had somehow fell on their own, even the store manager had came to see rin saying she didn't see anything on the cameras except him rushing into the store and the cans falling on their own but maybe rin had saw something she didn't.
It was all so frustrating and worrying, if the injury caused him to bleed so much could he be worse when he woke up? Obviously he wasn't brain dead but could he loose some type of mobile ability, extreme memory loss, brain damage, a bad dent in his head? There was so much possibilities and it must've been obvious he was thinking hard on it because when shirou place his hand on his shoulder he had finally realized he was hyperventilating and rin..he was stirring, finally waking up, luckily he wouldn't wake up so uncomfortable having been changed into the hospital gown
Shirou got up and moved over, smirking "hey kid, you know, you cost us a good dinner?" He tried to joke but rin only stared at him with fogged eyes, looking around he pulled his lip into a pout "rin?" He asked, reaching out to grab his hand, gaining rins attention again "dad?"
"There you are kid, you got hit pretty hard on the head didn't ya? You doing okay now?" Yukio got up and moved over, his bottom lip trembling as his hands where clenched
"Yeah..explains why my head hurts so much..dammit! Did I ge- oof! Yukio?" He was taken back as yukio hugged him close and tight, his shoulders jittering as he cried against rins shoulder "I should've been there with you!"
"Eh? Yukio, what are you talking about? I'm fine I swear!" Rin hugged him back, patting his head awkwardly as shirou snorted, crossing his arms "but you weren't! You lost so much blood!"
"But I'm fine now!" Rin pleaded as now he tried to push yukio off, feeling like he was being strangled (maybe yukio was trying to get back at him for stealing his manga) "he's right kiddo, now come on, let's get rin discharged and get him some actual food"
"Sukiyaki?"
"Maybe"
