Dick Grayson had been cooped up in the manor for days while sick, so it was not surprising that he would jump at the chance to get out and go to school. He immediately regretted it, as he stood in the school bathroom during first period, his teeth hurting and his head fevered.
And then there was that thing about the pain in his back…

Summary
Tim has always been on the outside of the family; even Gotham didn't see it fit to grant him the same blessing of wings she gave to the other Robins. He didn't see any reason why that would change, so it didn't even strike him that the pain in his back might be connected to the problem.
Jason just wanted to show Batman what happens when his birds fly loose. He did not expect to find Robin bleeding from his back and screaming in pain.
or: Gotham picks the worst possible time to start Tim's fledging, but it ends up bringing a family back together, so that's a win, right?

"Well... I can't fuse." He said, already continuing onwards before Mona could say anything. "Convicted criminal here, remember? The government does not subscribe to criminals having access to fusion." Akira self-consciously showcased the band around his wrist.
Ann pulled a face, dusting off her body suit. "I forgot about that. It is almost inhumane if you think about it."
Aka. Persona 5 Royal, but people can fuse Steven Universe style. Except Akira is a convicted criminal on probation, the thieves utilise this immensely and Akechi cannot risk exposing his plan by fusing with others.

This wacko scientist keeps insisting he's going to make him into something spectacular- whether he likes it or not.
A body horror/transformation fic in which Victor Gideon wants to create the perfect bioweapon- and Leon is the ideal candidate.

Because of the constant stress from fighting, Leon’s plaga is developing faster than normal. To make matters worse, Luis doesn’t have the medicine needed to suppress its growth. But Luis does have something else: a prototype formula that would allow a host to retain their mind, even as the plaga transforms them, turning the plaga’s relationship with the host from parasitic to symbiotic.
Out of options and out of time, Leon takes the drug. When it’s done, Saddler’s voice is gone and Leon’s mind is crystal clear. But now, he has to keep both Luis and Ashley safe and get out of this hellhole in Spain, all the while living his worst nightmare.
