Work Text:

“Why the hell are you digging through my shit Half-and-Half?” Katsuki’s voice rang out behind Todoroki, making him look up from the page he was reading.

“I wasn’t digging,” Todoroki replied as he held up the small, torn notebook he found under the couch. “I was cleaning.”

“That’s mine!” Katsuki lunged for it, but Todoroki dodged him easily, holding the notebook out of reach.

“You drew these?” Todoroki askedhim, flipping through pages of chaotic doodles that ranged from explosions to crude drawings of their classmates—and, surprisingly, a sketch of a sunset over a city skyline, shaded with surprising care.

“Give it back!” Katsuki snarled out, cheeks pink.

Kaminari snickered from the doorway, nudging Shinsou. “This is gold. I didn’t know Bakugou was secretly an artist.”

Shinsou grinned, “More like a tortured one. Look at him.”

Katsuki shot them a dangerous glare. “Shut the hell up, Sparky, or you’re next.”

Ignoring the chaos, Todoroki narrowed his eyes toward a small corner of the page where Katsuki had scrawled what looked like a recipe. “Is this a cake recipe?”

Katsuki managed to snatch the notebook back, shoving it into his hoodie with a growl, “It’s none of your damn business! And if you tell anyone, I’ll—”

“Bake me a cake?” Todoroki deadpanned with a tilt of his head.

Fuck him, why is he so damn cute.

Kaminari burst out in laughter, doubling over as Shinsou smirked and patted his back. “Todoroki, you’re killing him.”

As Katsuki continued to throw out threats, Todoroki leaned in slightly, “I didn’t know you kept something like this. It’s...nice.”

Katsuki froze for a second, caught off guard by the compliment. “Whatever,” he muttered, the pink blush on his ears obvious.

From the door, Kaminari leaned against Shinsou with a grin. “Think Bakugou’s hiding other secret talents?”

“Probably,” Shinsou replied, “We should start a pool.”

"We have twenty other bets going--"

“Do it, and you’re dead,” Katsuki snapped, glaring over his shoulder.

But as Todoroki resumed cleaning, a smile on his face, Katsuki glanced at his notebook, the corner of his mouth twitching upward. Hidden talents or not, he knew at least one person wouldn’t let him keep them hidden for long.
