I'm the King of Camelot and this week we're celebrating 20 years without magic! Ask me anything.
AMA
I am Uther Pendragon, King of Camelot. For two decades, I have successfully kept my kingdom prosperous, dragon-free and magic-free.
I am using this milestone as an opportunity to take questions from the people, hoping to continue on the path towards a transparent, citizien-oriented government where, within reason, every voice is heard.

Thank you for your AMA your majesty! My question is, what are your plans for the future regarding the knights? Do you think the recent budget cut is going to affect efficiency?

There was no such thing as a budget cut. Camelot's coffers are full and our knights are well-paid, highly intrinsically motivated and, as they have always been, the best in the five kingdoms.

my husband used to run in those circles (knights, gentry etc) and he always says being a knight is overrated? that the hazard pay isn't worth it and that honour doesn't feed a widow's starving children...

Your majesty. I would not normally seek to contact you as I deemed such endeavours futile, but with your recent stance on transparency and hearing the voice of the people, I have to ask. Our people have reason to believe that the time of the Once and Future King and his protector, Emrys, might be nigh. I am well aware of your politics regarding magic, but I was wondering if in the face of such prophecy you would consider a collaboration with the druids.
