Summary
No one has seen Merlin since he fled Camelot, and his death sentence, over six years ago. With Camelot under siege by Morgana's undead forces and Excalibur, his only hope of defeating them, stolen, Arthur embarks on a hopeless mission to find the lost sword. In a sacred forest he stumbles upon a changed Merlin. The two reconcile and Arthur starts to understand that their bond goes deeper than friendship. All the while Merlin is secretly grappling with the revelations of his own immortality and visions of Arthur's imminent death.
OR
An AU and alternative S4/5 mostly inspired by the Welsh pre-Merlin Myrddin, a mad soothsayer exiled to the woods, and Quest for Camelot 1998. More references in the notes. There's no need to know any of it!
Excerpt:
When Arthur looked, the end of his nose was decidedly red, so were his eyes. He seemed a little exacerbated. “Merlin, do you have hay fever?” he asked, incredulous.
“Ugh, a bit, why?”
“You’re immortal.”
“But I’m not infallible!” he sniffed, banging down his staff. “Not completely anyway...”
Arthur blinked, his mouth open, head shaking. “That the Gods and magic conspired to make a creature such as you, I don’t think I’ll ever fathom.”Series

Summary
What does it mean to grow up in a world that teaches you to want the wrong things, love the wrong people, and build a life you were never meant to live?
This eight‑part McLennon series follows John, Paul, Yoko and Linda in the late 70s and early 80s: brilliant, selfish, frightened, ambitious; as they try to survive the emotional wreckage left by fame, silence, and compulsory heterosexuality. It’s a story about middle age, regret, desire, and the generational inheritance of not knowing how to speak the truth.
A queer tragedy disguised as domestic farce.
A love story warped by the world that made it impossible.
An excavation of the lives they built, the lives they wanted, and the lives they lost. Each fic builds on the emotional consequences of the previous one. Recommended reading order is chronological for maximum devastation.
Author’s Note:
This fic explores darker emotional themes within a fictional universe inspired by real people. The characters here are narrative constructs, not historical claims. If you prefer softer interpretations, this is not the universe for you. Even the rare moments of tenderness here have sharp edges.- Words:

Summary
The man was beautiful. Hair as gold as dawn sunlight, eyes like the endless blue depths of a midsummer afternoon. His face was a marble angel’s, the lines of brow and cheek and jaw almost too mathematically perfect. Every good sculptor always knew to put in a flaw. His was in his front teeth, just a little too large, and it made Merlin dig his fingernails into his palms. He was lithe, muscular, dressed in black. Half-dressed - his jerkin was unbuttoned, his shirt open nearly to his navel, and he was missing a sock. His hair had the raked-through look of a man in crisis. His smile was dazzling and mad.
“This,” he said, spreading his hands, “is the magnificent - nay, the opulent court of the Crown Prince of Camelot!”
And then, very pleasantly - “Gaius, what the fuck is this?”
OR - When Merlin goes to find Gaius, he's told that he's left Camelot. Tracing his would-be mentor, Merlin finds himself at a tumbledown castle on the edge of a hill. There are chickens, radishes, a knight who'd much rather focus on his squash and a strange voice calling in the night. And a secret hidden in the heart of Castle Perilous. The secret behind the most important rule: don't bleed.

Summary
Merlin is the best hacker in the galaxy, thanks to the illegal technology in his brain that lets him connect directly to computers. After taking a step back from Morgause and her ruthless brand of revolution, he’s alone and jaded, drifting through the system and targeting the rich and powerful.
Arthur is the secret son of justice minister Uther Pendragon, hidden from the public eye all his life after the death of his mother at the hands of revolutionaries. After finding out just how deep the corruption went, he ran away from his life in the Camelot police force and picked up a ragtag crew, determined to help the ordinary people left behind by the government.
When Merlin ends up on his ship against both of their wills, it feels like they're never going to see eye to eye. But change is coming faster than they realise. Can they learn to meet in the middle, or will the secrets they're keeping undo them?
