Summary
The reader, someone who prefers quiet nights in, finds themselves at a pub with friends discussing football and the star player Roy Kent. Unfamiliar with him, the reader gets a crash course (but not really) on Roy's fame. A week later, the reader accidentally bumps into Roy outside a bookstore. After a brief, awkward but warm exchange, Roy invites the reader to a match, promising to keep them entertained.
