He jumps back as Gojo launches Blue at him, digging a crater where he was just standing, “I just wanna talk!” His pleas fall on deaf ears as Gojo charges up another attack, Red this time, and shoots it at Yuji, who yelps and barely manages to bend out of the way, getting pushed away by Red as it passes by him, landing him in the crater.
Yuji’s eyes snap back onto Gojo, who’s begun floating a foot off the ground, knowing that any words he says won't be heard.
“If you survive I’ll hear you out~” Gojo’s voice floats outwards jovially, making Yuji wince as he remembers the sadistic streak Gojo gets in fights sometimes, but readies to fight Gojo, unsure if he can beat him, probably not honestly.
Resigning himself to his fate, Yuji crouches down slightly, staring at Gojo, waiting for him to make a move, his cursed energy buzzing underneath his skin.
Gojo cracks a wide grin, bordering on maniacal as he stares at Yuji, like he’s something to dissect, Yuji sighs tiredly, realizing Gojo’s waiting for him to move, and so he does.
Blood gushes from his forearms, ripping through his stolen jacket before hardening, blades running across the sides of his forearms, ending in pointed tips near his elbows, extra blood pooling around his knuckles before hardening as well, the blood acting as gauntlets.
Gojo looks vaguely surprised at his use of blood manipulation, but Yuji doesn't let him fixate on it, launching at Gojo with high speeds, in front of the man in the blink of an eye, swinging a fist at Gojo, predictably hitting Infinity, and jumps back, sliding across the ground as Gojo cockily crosses his arms, a smirk on his face, “It’s pointless! It’s Infinity!”
Yuji holds in a grin as he prepares to shoot forward again, coating his fist in Domain Amplification this time, relishing Gojo’s momentary surprise as his fist breaches Infinity in a shimmer of teal, Gojo’s eyes growing wider as Yuji’s fist slams into his chest, black and red sparks shooting from the impact site pushing Gojo back a few feet.
Gojo’s surprise quickly melts away back into the cocky grin he had on before, “So you can use Domain Amplification, big whoop! It’s still not gonna be enough to survive this.”
Yuji’s eyes widen as he crosses his arms over his chest as Gojo suddenly shoots another Red at him, unable to dodge in time, launching Yuji away momentarily before the blood gauntlets shift into two poles in his hands, letting Yuji dig them into the ground to stop his momentum.
Pulling the blood poles out of the ground, Yuji melds the ends together into a crimson bo staff, using it to launch himself at Gojo again, turning the staff back into gauntlets, he strikes forward with Domain Amplification again, but misses as Gojo dodges out of the way, making Yuji curse under his breath and bend over while mid-air to avoid a quick punch from Gojo.
He drops back to the ground, unfortunately, affected by gravity, unlike his opponent, and sighs under his breath, glaring up at a cross-armed Gojo, who then drops to the ground next to Yuji, who begins to throw punches at Yuji, who’s forced on the defensive, Domain Amplification coating his whole body to prevent Gojo from crushing him with Infinity.
Yuji winces as Gojo lands a solid hit on his sternum, making him grit his teeth, quickly realizing that this is a battle of attrition that he will lose, he needs to do something, and fast.
While continuing his defense, he shifts his stance and sends out a wave of Cleave, collapsing the floor underneath Gojo and making him drop for a moment, just a moment, but just enough to let Yuji break through Infinity with Domain Amplification, slamming a fist hard into Gojo’s nose, black sparks shooting from his fist and shoving Gojo back a few feet, who reaches up and touches his now bleeding with a hesitant hand.
Yuji winces as he sees blood begin to drip down Gojo’s face, holding up his hands in an apology, “Ah shit, sorry man-” He’s cut off as Gojo growls at him (Growls!?) and shoots at him, Red underneath his feet and His fist coated in Blue, pulling Yuji’s face towards his fist, making him yelp, his fists shooting out to redirect Gojo’s fist upwards.
“Can we please just talk!?” Gojo, predictably, doesn't answer, instead just driving an elbow into Yuji’s shoulder, popping his arm out of the socket, making him wince, Reverse Curse Technique rolling out to force it back into the socket.
“God damn ! You coulda just said no!” Yuji uses his other arm and slams a fist into Gojo’s side, Domain Amplification bursting past Infinity and letting him land a third black flash against Gojo, Yuji shudders, a grin coming onto his face as he feels himself roll further into the flow state.
Gojo winces as his spleen is hit hard, but he doesn't slow down, slamming his forehead into Yuji’s, clearly taking him far more seriously now that he’s giving him a proper fight.
Yuji’s face turns neutral as he immerses himself in the flow state, using Flowing Red Scale to buff himself further, now on the offensive, using his sudden increase in speed to land a flurry of blows against Gojo, some being deflected by Infinity but some breaching it due to Domain Amplification, he’s not trying to deal any real damage to Gojo, knowing that his Reverse Curse Technique would undo anything he does in an instant, but instead tries to overwhelm Gojo’s six eyes.
Gojo, fed up, kicks Yuji away, making him skid against the dirt.
Gojo, with a confident shine in his eyes, holds up his hand, crossing his fingers and calling out his next move, his voice seemingly echoing, “Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void .”
Yuji curses under his breath, his own hands coming up hastily to call up his own domain, muttering it out under his breath, “Domain Expansion: Valley of Enlightenment .”
Two domes expand outwards from their casters, one, speckled with galaxies, the pinnacle of human knowledge contained within, and the other dome, is much simpler, an autumn forest clearing with a large lake in the center, the sun stuck in a permanent sunrise as leaves gently flutter to the floor.
The domains clash, shrowding them both in darkness as the domains fight for dominance, the two opponents staring each other down, not moving from their spots as they push their all into domains.
Yuji grits his teeth, having known from the beginning of the domain clash that he is gonna lose, guaranteed, and decides to adjust his domain on the fly, having practically begged Megumi to help him get an open domain, using his time as Sukuna’s vessel to help in that regard as well.
He closes his eyes, blocking out the world as he breathes slowly, prodding at his barrier and forcing it to leave its confines, slowly expanding outwards and engulfing Gojo’s from the outside, shattering it and bringing him inside his domain.
Yuji grins as his sure-hit effect kicks in, blood beginning to rain from the sky and focusing on Gojo, showering him in blood, blood that Yuji can control, and he does so, forming a thick helmet around Gojo’s head so he can’t see, and rushes forward, using some of the blood rain to give himself armor as he does, landing a flurry of blows against Gojo’s torso, using the blood helmet around Gojo’s head to yank him off balance.
Yuji drops to the ground and sweeps Gojo’s feet, and after a moment of hesitation, slams an elbow into the back of Gojo’s head, shattering the blood helmet and knocking him out cold.
