Work Text:
Stiles tapes the final box closed and straightens. He looks around his childhood bedroom, now bare of everything that once said he lived there. It's not a sight he'd ever imagined. Somehow, even knowing he would someday be going to college and living on his own, he never thought about what it would be like to empty this room.
He decides he likes it better than he did during the years he was away. He's been moving his things out for years. At least it isn't in a halfway state.
"Ready to go home?" Derek asks from the door.
"Yeah."
