The Sheriff shifted, beer in hand, immediately wary of the pair of werewolves on his porch.
“Good evening, Sheriff,” Scott greeted, with an uncomfortable and forced smile.
“Good evening, Scott,” Sheriff Stilinski returned patiently, playing along. “Anything I can help you with?” He didn’t look like he actually wanted an answer, which was fair because they rarely saw him when someone wasn’t on the verge of being arrested or dead.
“This is probably going to sound really weird, but I promise I’m being completely serious.” The Sheriff nodded for him to continue, almost looking pained. “Do you have a son, by any chance?”

Summary
Stiles is twenty-nine years old, lives alone, travels way too much, doesn’t know when the last time he had a home cooked meal where no one was trying to impress anyone, and he’s just tired of all the fancy bullshit. His face is too recognizable; he can’t even attempt to try a new restaurant without the chef requesting the honor of plating something special just for him.
And right now? Stiles really just wants some chicken nuggets.

Summary
Pretty much the only person who's never had Stiles wash his clothes is, frustratingly, the richest guy in the entire school. Derek S. Hale.
Stiles figures the S stands for Stingy. Or maybe Scowl, since that seems to be his primary facial expression, especially around Stiles. He's gone through a lot of theories about why Hale won't let Stiles touch his clothes.

"Let me get this right," Hale says, in a voice that’s frankly too soft for the fierce glare. "You want me to pay you to touch my clothes."
"WASH them," Stiles says, making motions with his hands that’re meant to indicate the machine's churning cycle.
Hale looks confused.
"I'm not going to fondle them or anything," Stiles says, then clamps his mouth shut, because now Hale definitely thinks that’s the case.

Summary
The hardest part of living in the city, Derek thinks, is trading in his car for public transit. He understands the convenience and necessity, but for someone with supernatural senses, the twice-daily ride feels a little too close to torture. But you do anything for pack, right?
Laura had told him he didn't have to come with her and insisted he actually consider his options. What options? he'd thought bleakly. Of course he'd go with her—his Alpha, and his only remaining family. Even if the city's constant noise and smells grate on him.
After a particularly unpleasant incident on the subway, Derek switches his routine—and, it turns out, his entire view on city life. The front subway car isn't really any less packed than the one he'd used before, and his constant low simmer of irritation with crowds doesn't dissipate.
He sticks with the new habit, though, because the one thing the front car does have is Stiles.
