"I hate new intern day," Derek mutters to Peter as they walk together.
Peter just smirks at Derek, unwilling to admit aloud that he does as well. They always assign him someone green who's more interested in panting after Derek than learning the publishing business. Peter doesn't expect perfection, but someone who doesn't try to hit on Derek seems like not too much to ask.
"Peter, this is Stiles Stilinski," Laura says as they walk into the conference room.
"Good to meet you, Alpha," a brown-eyed waif says with a mischievous grin, then deliberately tilts his head to the side.
