Hello there I'm just making this to get it out of my head and out there for everyone to be able to use if they want.
Let's get started, what is this AU about you may be asking yourself, well there are two ways it is, one is Zach created them to try and prove that he's the better inventor by creating clones of the Kratt bros. the other way is they are the alternates from a different universe. anyway let's get to character introductions and other stuff about them
__Mateo Kratt__
Summary: Mateo is a nice person; however, others might describe him as a two-faced shark with little regard for your well-being. Despite this, he is considered the nicest—albeit disingenuous—among his peers. Mateo enjoys solving problems or learning about new things, often to a dangerous extent. If he becomes curious about something and there's no one around to stop or explain it to him, it could lead to a broken toaster, as he tends to examine each of its individual parts. He is much more organized than Martin, though not by much. The few similarities he shares with Martin are that he is the swimming brother and that they both love animals and enjoy naming them.
Appearance: I would like to say that he looks like the fan-made robot copy of Martin, Salutations, in terms of clothing and color but outside of that he's different from them, his eye color is brown instead of Blue, his hair is more grey-ish blonde and is more don- he has a mullet I'm not gonna beat around the bush about that. his creature power suit color is also white.
Physical abnormalities: Mateo isn't without his faults, this goes for him physically, Abigal's (twisted Aviva) testing of the suits somewhat messed with him, mixing his DNA too closely to an animal or Zach decided to take certain traits up and added a bit of animal DNA, that being a shark for him, he has the keen sense of smell like one and has rough patches on his skin where denticles are, he covers those so he doesn't feel uncomfortable with that. he has a second row of teeth and grows new teeth fast even if he loses his front row.
__Charles Kratt__
Summary: Charles is the opposite of his brother in terms of personality, quiet and mostly prone to more bursts of anger and generally annoyed by many things, Charles is more actively hostile to humanity as a whole holds grudges for a long time and rarely ever lets them go and they can pop up from the smallest perceived slight, the exceptions to him dropping them is if his brother is the one who did it he's much faster to drop it when it's Mateo, somewhat more lenient to drop grudges with the others on the team. like Mateo, he shares some things in common with Chris, like his love and knowledge of animals and being the climbing brother
Appearance: He takes Toodle's clothes and the general color scheme but outside of that also different, his hair being black instead of brown and eyes being green rather than brown, he grew out his hair to keep it in a ponytail, generally has a resting neutral expression or scowl. Creature power suit is red like Toodle's
Physical abnormalities: Like with Mateo the cause for Charles's changes it's either Zach or Abigal's fault, his DNA is afflicted with Feline and Tiger DNA, giving him the usual things a cat would, keen senses and good reflexes, landing on his feet all the time is helpful and the claws do help with climbing.
Outside of that, I don't think there's much anything else I could say about them, outside what they want, which is different again on the way you go with this, in Zach made them way they initially wanted to replace the Kratt bros, and help Zach but after that failed they wanted to prove that they're the superior versions (even if they lose every fight they had), in the different universe version well it's the same as the Wild Kratts but they don't do the best job due to not having the best teamwork ethic.
