Summary
“Birds are business now, huh?” Ed mutters to Izzy while Frenchie checks them off his registration list.
“You of all people should know they are,” Izzy harrumphs. “C’mon.”
They stash their gear on the truck, save for small daypacks and binoculars, and camera bags for Ivan and Fang. Ed feels eyes on him again and hears hushed voices coming from the cab of the truck, but elects to ignore them, walking away. He’s got birds to see.
And a Golden-capped Babe to hunt down later, too.
