No matter how much Rio had prepared herself, she had not accounted for the credibility of her most unassuming truth: she was a fool for Agatha Harkness.

It’s been five years since Agatha left Rio standing in their doorway after Nicky died. What Agatha has done in that time, Rio wasn’t sure. At least not outside of the things she could legally look up.
When her team gets stumped by a high profile case she would love to say she could solve it herself, but it wouldn’t be true. Sure, they needed her, but she needed Agatha- which gave her the perfect excuse to do some more digging.
Getting Agatha to take the case would be hard enough- but can she get her to take it once she knows she’d be going undercover with Rio? As her wife? With a son?
