When young Viktor met Signed, he too met Silco, the don of the Undercity. Impressed with Signed's praise of the boy and admiring his strength, Silco takes him in, and soon Viktor grows to be a pseudo doctor and assistant for Silco, with a hidden love and talent for science, earning not only pure praise but respect from everyone around him in the undercity.
Until that faithful day, a gold auraed man enters Benzo's shop.
Jayce expected his trip to the Undercity to be kept under wraps. He'd go in, get what we needed to complete his prototype and leave, none would be the wiser. He didn't expect a man with a cane, dressed in impeccable crimson, to be standing by and tell him that he was being scammed for the materials he so desperately needed.
Jayce didn't think he'd see him again.
Viktor assumed it be over once the man paid.
But curiosity gets the better of them both. Viktor is intrigued by Jayce's Hextech plan and, for once, questions his world. Jayce is intrigued by Viktor's intelligence and pure hope for a better world.
Not only do they become partners, but they're both dragged into the darkness and evils of Piltover and Zaun, needing to lose and find each other.
