Chapter Text
May 4th, 1998
"Ms Ward?"
Green eyes were the first thing she saw. Big green eyes, covered by big round glasses.
The second thing that she noticed was a letter in the boy's hands. She had seen them before.
The last thing she viewed was the scar in the boy's forehead.
"Harry?... Oh, is that you?"
The big eyes widened. "Er... yes, that's me?"
"Harry... look at you, last time I saw you, you were a little little boy" she was smiling at the memories "Oh, but, don't you stand thes, come, do you want a cuppa?"
The boy, Harry, was confused, it was all over his face. "That, er, would be nice, thank you?"
As he was entering, she guided him to the drawing room and then left him to look for whatever she needed. When she came back, Harry was still confused.
Harry was looking at the woman in front of him. She looked rather familiar, maybe that she was a redhead, with green eyes. She looked like Ginny, she also looked like an aged version of his mother, she looked like the girl he saw on the same battlefield as him.
"Well, what brings you here? Is not that I'm not happy, is clear that you don't know why I know you"
Harry frowned. He was well known in the world, in his world, "well ma'am, yes, I'm a little curious... how do you know me?"
She smiled, "I was one of your neighbors, Harry. I moved days before you came to live with the Dursley." She looked again at Harry "you were such a little thing, you were as small as my little girl" she looked at some old photos that were in one of the wall, "we move out when my little girl was six, I got a better job in other city, so I thought it was for the better for us."
Harry nodded at the info. That's why he thought she looked familiar. Oh, "Miss Mia?" he looked at her eyes finally.
"That's me dear," she laughed, "well, we can catch up later, I noticed that you brought something with you?"
Harry squeezed his hands now. Uh. That's not gonna be good.
"I'm... I got, something important to tell you, miss..."
“Well I'm all ears dear, just to say, I don't have another child in age to go to a school of yours” she laughed a little.
…
She stopped her laugh, the boy in front of her was looking at the floor.
“Harry? What happened? Are you alright?”
He handed her the letter. Still looking at the floor. Still, when she took it. When she started to cry. When she fell apart in front of him.
…
Dear Miss Mia Ward:
With great sadness, we announce the loss of he one, Lily Ward, who was one of the grand lost we had suffered this year, based on the war we were fighting against the Dark Lord.
We once again are so sorry for telling this in this way.
Yours sincerely,
Minerva McGonagall.
Headmistress of Hogwarts.

“Are you sure that she's gonna be okay with this plan?”
Harry was looking at the letter in his hands, he never had seen the name of this person, not that he remembers.
“Yes master, she is the one you are looking”
Harry looked up, the thing in front of him, the dementor-like thing, Death, Harry sighed. He took his glasses to rub his eyes one more time. “I don't even remember her daughter, was she a Raven or a Huff? Was she in my year?”
Death didn't have eyes, but Harry felt like Death rolled them “you didn't look at your yearmates, master, but I'm telling you, that yes, she was in the same year as you.”
Harry sighed again “okay… well, I don't remember her, but I guess that I just need to follow your idea.”
“Yes master, and then you will be able to rest.”
“That sounds really good.”
