   Summary

   In their final moments together, Sonic and Shadow put aside their differences and fought together. Saving the world from certain doom - Shadow losing his life in the process.
   At least, that's what Sonic had thought. When his (rival? ally? friend?) is found alive, Sonic keeps their relationship hidden from the rest of his family. Between the looming threat of GUN over their heads, the search for missing Chaos Emeralds, and re-adjusting to life with Tom out of the hospital, surely keeping Shadow a secret wouldn't hurt. Right? ...Right?
