Chapter Text

 The loves that turned into hate...

In a magnificent stone palace whose walls were covered with precious works of art and each piece was a work of art by itself, a war had begun... an unjust war, a war between a boy and an army.

The corpses were lying on the ground and decorated the stone floor of the palace like a carpet... Among those corpses stood two people, the main characters of that bloody war:  A boy and a teenage girl.

The girl was about seventeen years old and had red eyes, black and curly hair, and her face was like a painting of innocence and beauty, while the boy had dark black eyes that were big, black and messy hair, and an evil grin.

With fear in her eyes, the girl took a few steps back and said, "Al... let's talk..." The black-haired girl felt the stone ground shaking under her feet, but she knew she was wrong, fear made her hallucinate.

The red eyes of the girl stared into the black eyes of the boy.

The boy laughed and went ahead without paying attention to the girl's fear: "No, talking is boring..."

While walking forward, the boy said in a loud and mocking voice, "I don't want to listen to you... I don't want to talk to you... I worked hard for this revenge all these years, my love! Shut up and let me enjoy it."

The girl put her hands in front of him and tried to convince the boy: "You are wrong, Alastor!  I am your mate! If I die, you will be alone forever... I am the only one who can love you."

The boy suddenly went towards the girl with an incredible speed and took her throat in his hand and threw her towards the wall and when he was watching the girl's body falling on the ground, he said with a laugh, "You think these words will save you...?  How pathetic. Imagining an eternity with you is torture, my love."

The girl pursed her lips, frowned, looked at the boy with hatred in her eyes, and then rose to her feet and attacked the boy.

Chapter Text

The young woman leaned against the door and said, her eyes moving over the boy's body, "stay... we can have more fun."

The boy had messy black hair, amazing black eyes, pale skin, a fit body, and a handsome appearance that was made all the more attractive by the several tattoos on his body; the boy had several tattoos, but the one on his neck was the most noticeable.

The boy grinned and after zipping his jeans, he reached for his T-shirt that was lying on the floor. "I think five rounds would have been enough, Kat..."

A young woman who looked to be about twenty-four or twenty-five years old and had beautiful golden hair looked at the boy's muscular body and licked her lips. "Not for me, Al..."

After putting on his black T-shirt, the boy walked towards the woman and pressed his body against hers a little and whispered, "Well, that's your problem now." Then he kissed the woman's lips.

Catelyn, who was immersed in the kiss, moaned as the boy pulled away and said, "Selfish as always, Alastor."

Alastor chuckled and walked towards the broken window of the apartment. "But you like it."

Catelyn grinned and walked towards him. "What I like is your body, not your many awkward manners. Anyway, where are you going? Are you really going to the Volturi?”

Alastor sat on the window ledge and replied with a grin, “This has nothing to do with you, Kat.”

Catelyn raised an eyebrow, “I just wonder why you go there so much, you’re not even a Volturi member, if you like them so much why don’t you agree to be part of their guard? It’s stupid that you go there, you don’t even like Aro and the others.”

Alastor rolled his eyes in his sockets, “Mind your own business, by the way, I like Alec, you know he’s kind of sexy.” Then, ignoring the blonde and red-eyed woman who rolled her eyes in her sockets, he turned his face to the window and said as he threw himself out of there, “Goodbye, Kat!”

In a magnificent white and royal hall with white marble on top, on which there were three chairs for the Volturi leaders, several vampires were present along with a human.

Except for Edward and Alice who had golden eyes, the rest of the vampires had red eyes, a sign of their feeding habits.

Edward, looking pale and weak, looked at Aro who was holding Bella's hands and frowned, how he hated that situation!

Edward really hated that situation.

He should never have gone to the Volturi.

Now he had put Bella in danger.

As Edward watched with a frown, Aro went to Bella and took her hands but he couldn't read Bella's mind and memories, just like Edward; Edward understood Aro's despair and fascination at that moment.

Aro was one of the three leaders of the Volturi, the Volturi were like the royal family of vampires, they made the rules and did not let humans find out about them, Edward and the rest of the clan never became Volturi because the Volturi drank human blood but Edward and his family only drank animal blood; Aro had a special gift similar to Edward's, he could understand all the memories and thoughts of people up to the moment by holding their hands while Edward could hear the thoughts of others, without touching, it was like a curse... But Bella was immune to both of them, this was one of the reasons why Edward was attracted to the girl in the first moment.

Edward left Bella because he did not want to hurt her but by leaving her he did the worst damage, Edward was determined not to let Bella get hurt again.

Edward looked at Aru's face holding Bella's hand with anger and concern. Aru was shocked and then lost in thought and whispered, "Exactly like him... Maybe not as powerful as him but... Definitely powerful..." Bella looked confused and a frown was on her beautiful and innocent face.

Edward frowned too, like him? Who was Aro talking about?

Edward expected Aro's fascination because Aro was interested in vampires with special gifts, so Aru always wanted Edward, who had the ability to read minds, and Alice, who could see the future, in the Volturi Guard, but they were not satisfied. Edward was sure that Aru would be fascinated by seeing Bella have such a powerful gift that works even when she is human, but Aro's reaction was strange.

"This is amazing... if your gift is so powerful when you're human..." Aro said in fascination and confusion. Unfortunately, Aro was cut off by the sudden opening of the doors.

Edward turned his eyes towards the large doors there, the sound of footsteps echoing there, and then his golden eyes met black eyes filled with darkness and danger.

And so the lion met the hunter.

Edward felt like a prey, trapped in the clutches of a hunter with no way out; the moment Edward's eyes locked with the red eyes of the vampire stranger, Edward knew it, he knew he was in big trouble because the look in the boy's eyes alone was like a black hole made of blood.

Aro raised his eyes to the boy and when he saw him, a moment of shock settled on his face, but that shock quickly gave way to a happy and eager smile: "Alastor! As always, it's a great surprise to see you! But I wish you would have told me in advance."

Edward looked at the boy who was called Alastor, the boy grinned and replied while looking at Aro: "If I told you in advance, it wouldn't be so bad, Arrow." Then he turned his head towards Edward, licked his lip with his tongue and whispered, "What do we have here?..."

Aru clapped his hands together and replied impatiently with an uncertain smile on his lips, "It's nothing special..." Alastor interrupted Aro and said, walking towards Edward, his eyes locked on the boy, "I think this is quite special."

Aro approached Alastor with a smile, pointed at Edward with his hand and said, "This is Edward Cullen, you haven't met the Cullen family members before, have you?"

Alastor, who had been staring at Edward with his dark, black eyes, tilted his head slightly to the right and whispered, "Edward... Cullen... You have a nice name, but I'll call you Eddie."

Edward was confused, angry, and worried. He had never even heard of this seemingly dangerous stranger. Edward quickly decided that he didn't like Alastor and didn't want him to get close to Bella or even notice her.

Edward replied with a bit of anger, "I'd rather you didn't call me."

Alastor replied with a mischievous grin and a soft, calm voice, "Well, unfortunately that's my decision, not yours, Eddie." He then took a step forward and got closer to Edward, but when a girl, a human, stepped in front of him, he couldn't get close.

Alastor glanced at the beautiful human who stood protectively in front of Edward and said in a cold voice, "Get away from him."

The girl was beautiful, she had brown hair and eyes and she tried to look brave, but her trembling hands didn't escape Alastor's gaze.

Alastor leaned forward with a smile and whispered, "Looks like we have a nice snack here..." Then he turned his head to Aru and asked loudly and with a sad face, "Oh, sorry Aro, did I interrupt your meal?"

Aro replied with a soft smile and slightly worried eyes, "Bella is one of our guests and although she smells amazing, we are not going to eat her... unfortunately."

Alastor turned his face to Bella and replied with a savage grin, "It's a shame... it must be so much fun to see her face when she's dying..."

Edward angrily pushed Bella back so she wasn't near Alastor then stepped forward and grabbed Alastor's neck with his hand, which only made the older boy grin. "If you even think about touching her, I will tear you to pieces."

Marcus said with a frown, "How long is this farce going to go on?"

In one swift movement, alastor grabbed Edward's hand around his neck, then grabbed Edward's neck with his other hand, spinning him around and slamming him onto the floor, causing the tiled floor to crack and sink beneath Edward.

Bella ran towards Edward and shouted, "Let him go!" Alice, of course, held her.

The black-eyed vampire looked into the red eyes of Marcus, who was still sitting on his throne, and replied in a quiet voice and a devilish laugh, "As long as I want... do you have a problem with this, Marcus? Don't answer, I don't care." Then he stood up and looked at Aro while placing his foot on Edward's throat, stopping him from moving. "Well, Aro... Eddie has a gift... doesn't he?"

Aro looked at Edward, who was on the ground, trying to get Alastor's leg off his neck, and then he looked at Alastor, clapping his hands together softly, and replied, "Well... that's right, our dear Edward has a gift, a truly amazing gift."

Alastor raised an eyebrow and glared at Aro, which meant only one thing: Aro should have said Edward's gift.

Aro continued with a smile, "He can read minds... amazing! Don't you agree?"

Alastor didn't answer Aro, he turned his eyes to Edward and looked at him, and while Edward looked at the black-haired vampire with intense anger in his eyes, Alastor just smiled and whispered, "A mind reader... really interesting..." Then he looked back at Aro, nodded at Alice and Bella who were looking at Edward worriedly and asked, "What about those two?"

Aro looked at Bella and after a short pause, he looked at Alastor and replied with a small smile, "Alice also has a very useful and amazing gift... She can see the future, really amazing, don't you agree, Alastor?"

Alastor looked at Alice with a smile and said in a calm and happy voice, "Definitely... seeing the future is a really remarkable and interesting gift..." Alice felt strangely worried by the feeling of the boy's eyes on her.

Aro rolled his eyes and while still looking at Alastor, he replied happily, "You always understood my fascination with people with gifts."

Alastor's eyes turned to Aro: "We are the same, Aro, we both have an unstoppable passion for them. The only difference is in the type of passion... a very small difference... you want to collect them and I... I want to destroy them."

Aro replied with cold eyes, still smiling, "I think it's a big difference..."

For a few seconds the two of them stared at each other and no one said anything until Alastor said with a grin on his lips, "Well, it was a lovely conversation but you can't fool me, Aro, I know you want to distract me from that human, stop trying so hard and just tell me... what's so special about him?" Then he looked at Bella with a fierce look.

Aro frowned for a second but quickly regained his composure and replied, "Bella is like you... other people's gifts don't work on her."

Alastor's eyes widened and he stared at Bella with intense interest.

Bella bit her lip and stepped back.

Alastor, his eyes fixed on Bella, whispered, "Nobody's gift?"

After a moment's pause, Alice said doubtfully, "My gift works." She hoped this would make Bella seem less interested.

Alastor finally removed his foot from Edward's throat and walked towards Bella and Alice. "So some gifts work... and some don't... That's really interesting, have you tried Jane's gift, Aro?"

Aro looked at Jane with interest and replied, "Not really..."

Jane's gift was pain... she could inflict pain on anyone she wanted.

Edward quickly got up and walked towards Elastor who was slowly moving towards Bella, placed his hand on her shoulder, sent her back and threatened while standing in front of her, "Don't you dare even come close to her."

Alastor's attention went from Bella to Edward and while his eyes were on Edward, he asked Aro, "Aro, Eddie and his little human both have to die... right?" Eddie broke the law and let a human know the truth about him and our beautiful snack knows the truth... so you have to kill them both, right, Aro?"

Aro replied, "Normally yes... right."

Alastor moved closer to Edward so that their faces were less than an inch apart then said, "But it would be a shame if you killed them both, wouldn't it?"

Bella shouted, "Kill me! Not her! Kill me instead."

Aro looked at Bella and then looked at Alastor. "Even if we kill dear Bella or... turn her into one of us, would that be okay, Alastor?"

Edward looked at Arrow and shouted, "No!"

Alastor frowned and replied, "But Edward needs to be punished too, Aro dear."

Aro raised an eyebrow and asked, "What's wrong with you?"

Alastor grabbed Edward by the neck and pulled his face closer to his, then said, looking into the vampire's mind-reading eyes, "You want to save a life, Eddie... so you have to take a life, nothing is free."​​​​​​​

Alastor smiled, which could definitely be described as evil. He then looked away from Edward's worried face and looked at Alec. "Alec! Can you get me some food?"

Alec, who had understood what Alastor meant, raised his eyebrows, chuckled and replied happily, "Of course, why not."

Edward, who had read Alec's mind, was horrified and whispered as his eyes widened, "No... no..."

Alastor turned to Edward with a grin on his lips and seeing Edward's startled and slightly scared face, laughed, "Did you really think you were going to take your beloved Bella's hand and leave? You have misunderstood this world so much, Edward."

Edward, who still had Alastor's hand on his throat and was unable to move much, struggled a little and shouted angrily, "You can't do this!"

Alastor laughed and then with a small movement threw Edward towards the wall so that the wall broke and caved in and Edward fell to the ground. Edward raised his head and looked at the smiling Alastor who was standing there and clenched his fists in anger and disgust.

Seeing Edward thrown away, Bella shouted in concern and tried to run towards him: "Edward!"

Alastor was facing Bella in a second and blocked her path: "I advise you to turn back before I decide to crush your neck under my fingers."

Bella glared at EAastor angrily and shouted: "I will not let you hurt Edward! If you want to kill someone, kill me!"

The grin on Alastor's face faded and was replaced by a cold and emotionless face... Then he took a step closer to Bella, causing the human to step back. Edward quickly got up to go to Bella and protect her as Alice moved but they were both stopped by a single sentence from Alastor: "Move so I can break every bone in her body."

Edward's eyes were filled with pure anger, hatred, horror and disgust as he looked at Alastor but the small confusion in his heart had not reached his eyes... Edward looked at the three Volturi kings who were standing motionless and watching everything and became even more confused. This was Volturi territory, Volturi guards had surrounded the place so killing that vampire shouldn't be hard for Aro but why wasn't Aro doing anything? Why was he standing motionless and watching someone else walk around his territory? Aro wasn't that kind of person and Marcus would certainly prefer to kill Alastor so there had to be something about Alastor that was stopping them... but what? While Edward was lost in his thoughts, Arrow's eyes suddenly turned to him and their eyes locked, and then as if Aro was trying to answer Edward, an image appeared in his mind: a beautiful, old castle burning in flames... The scene in the Volturi king's mind seemed so vivid that Edward suddenly felt like he could feel the heat of that fire and involuntarily shivered. Edward became even more confused because he didn't understand what Arrow meant.

Alastor, who was unaware of the interaction between Aro and Edward and whose cold eyes were on Bella, whispered in a cold and impatient voice, "You Won't let me?? No one here has the ability to stop me. You think you're stronger than you think you are... Even if you're a vampire, you can't stop me. You know what? It would be much more fun if you were one of us, I could pull your beloved's body in front of you and tear it to pieces, while you know that even being a vampire you're weak..." And then he laughed in a quieter voice and moved his hand to Bella's neck.

Edward couldn't take it anymore so he ran towards Alastor while shouting angrily through his teeth: "Don't touch her!" And at the same time Alice shouted in concern: "Edward!" But Alastor didn't even move until Edward was only an inch away from him then he let go of Bella's neck so that the girl fell to the ground and turned towards Edward, dodged, stood behind Edward, grabbed the back of Edward's neck and pushed him down to his knees with his hand.

Before Edward could struggle, the doors opened again and Alec appeared, accompanied by a middle-aged man with a rather large scar on his body. Alastor looked at Alec with a smile and raised an eyebrow, "It took me a long time, Alec, I was getting frustrated with you."

Alec grinned and whispered, "Speed ​​is your specialty..." and then an image of Alastor appeared in his mind, leaning over him, naked... It took Edward a few seconds to realize that the image was actually a picture of Alastor having sex with alec!

Alastor, who was holding Edward's neck, moved his hand to Edward's shoulders and leaned next to Edward, wrapping his arm around the other vampire's shoulders and happily whispered in Edward's ear: "I'll give you a chance to save your dear Bella, if you can finish the food we prepared for you like a good boy, I'll let you get out of here with that stupid human. But if you can't... Even your sweet sister won't get out of here alive, what do you think, Eddie?"

Edward stared at Alastor in astonishment... Was he asking him to kill a human? To drink a human's blood? Alastor just wanted to see how Edward would tear all his beliefs to pieces.

Alastor, who was staring into Edward's eyes, said with a grin: "Hurry up Eddie, I know you're hungry... Hurry up, good boy."

Bella, who was looking at everything with confusion and anger, asked: "What's going on? What does he want?”

Alice, who had overheard Edward and Alastor’s conversation thanks to her super-vampire hearing, frowned, “He wants Edward to drink that man’s blood, he wants edward to kill him.”

Bella turned to Edward with wide eyes and shouted, “Edward, no!” Then he tried to go towards her but Demetri, one of the Volturi guards, stopped him.

Edward looked at Bella and then his eyes moved to Alastor, whose face was only an inch away from his own. Alastor moved the arm around Edward's shoulder slightly and ran it through the boy's messy hair and whispered, "It's not that hard a choice, Eddie."

Edward looked at the middle-aged, scarred man who was staring at him in fear and kept saying, "Please no... don't do this... I beg you..."

Unable to bear the man's pleas any longer, Edward tore his eyes away from him and in a split second ran towards the man, savagely sinking his teeth into his neck and letting the sweet, intoxicating human blood flow down his dry throat.

Bella screamed, "No!" As Alice turned away in annoyance, she knew Edward had no choice.

Edward could feel the skin tearing under his teeth and the man's death under his hands, but he couldn't help but enjoy drinking his blood in a sickening way... It had been a long time since he had drunk human blood, and the only thing that completely quenched a vampire's thirst was human blood, so Edward couldn't be blamed for enjoying his sin.

Alastor rose from the ground, looked at Edward with a smile, and slowly approached him. When Alastor reached Edward, he buried a hand in the boy's hair and knelt down beside him, grinning, "such a good boy..."

Edward, his face stained with human blood, turned to Alastor and looked at him in astonishment, still in shock at what he had done. With his usual grin, Alastor brought his face close to Edward's face and licked the blood that had flowed from Edward's lips with a slow motion, then muttered with dissatisfaction: "I still hate it... it's sucks." Then he pulled his head back a little and looked at Edward: "But you seem to like it a lot, Eddie... There's no blood left in his body."

Edward turned his head towards the human, his neck had been violently torn and blood was showing on his pale skin, his eyes were still open and he was looking at Edward but there was no soul in his body anymore... Alastor was right, Edward had drunk every last drop of blood.

Alastor got up and walked away from Edward with a smile and walked towards the door, he had caused irreparable harm to Edward and enjoyed it and he had nothing more to do so he decided to leave. As Alastor headed for the door, Alec appeared beside him and whispered, "You're leaving."

Alastor looked at Alec, leaned down a little, kissed the boy's lips briefly but ferociously, and then whispered, "Goodbye." And then he left without even caring what happened to Edward or Bella or even looking at Aro.​​​​​​​
