Chishiya honest to god laughs. It’s a weak, exhausted noise, but he’s laughing and Niragi thinks it might be one of the best sounds he’s ever heard. It’s not his mocking snort or degrading laugh. The kind of noise that claws its way under your skin and gnaws at your confidence and lingers hours and weeks after you’ve heard it. The laugh now is just a proper, amused laugh.

God, I love pain. Especially when it's the best kind of angst pain and you keep thinking: "Self-destruction is such a pretty little thing" in certain contexts and certain ships. Nishiya is one of those.
