"Not everyone is in a fake relationship." Minho started.
"No, not everyone. Stella."
"Enough!" Minho's voice rang through the room. "It's bad enough you broke my heart. Are you trying to break up my relationship?"
Kitty jaw dropped. What did he say?
This semester started with the mess she left behind her, but she thought all of it was resolved now. Her and Yuri were resolved. She knows her sexuality. Minho...he said that the plane was a mistake. So, what is this?
"I..broke your heart?"
Minho swallowed, but he never looked away, keeping his eyes locked on her with another revelation that has her head reeling. The two stood in silence, tension clouding the air.
"Why do you think I jumped into a rebound relationship with Stella?"
Kitty, mouth agape, stood there with wide eyes as he explains what he really felt for her last semester. Or earlier this semester.
"I'm not made of stone Covey. You didn't feel the same, and I respected that. Your friendship is one of the better things I have in life. I moved on with Stella. I set up each domino leading further and further away from how I felt for you, but with a single huff of air you sigh and it all crashes down. Play somewhere else. I'm so tired."
She reached out for towards him, and watching him take a step back helped her understand the dominoes leading away from her. Kitty lets her arm fall.
"I walked in on your kiss with Yuri, I third wheeled with you and Praveena. Please, I can't take it anymore... please. I'm with Stella now, and I've moved on. You try to break us up, because what? Are you jealous or something?"
Kitty responds instinctively. Defensively. "You're my friend."
A grimace flashes on Minho's face for a second before it returns to his anger.
"Minho...I wanna look out for you." Kitty says.
"Well don't."
