Summary
Reigen Arataka, bullying Shigeo’s hair into shape. It’s black as ink, straight and thick, coming down to right below his brows.
He’d fallen asleep on the bus, pressed into fabric that is rougher than it looks but held steady against each jostle and sway. The imprint of Shishou’s suit is red on his cheek, the color of sleep in his eyes.
Shishou ruffles his hair, messing it clean again. Shishou clicks his tongue and speaks without talking. The rhythm of it is nice, a song when he chastises Shigeo for falling asleep, and then apologetic, landing heavy back on his head like he can’t let go.
