    The last couple of months have been a crazy ride for Jayce. Progress Day. Getting a seat on the Council. Mel. Viktor. The barricade. The raid. Zaun’s independence. And now, after weeks of feeling like things are finally slotting into place thanks to the negotiations, his world is turned upside down once more. The culprit? Viktor, of course.

    (Or, the one where instead of caving to the hex-core, Viktor develops a substance akin to shimmer, illegally tests it on himself, and Jayce is left to suffer from the consequences. Spoiler: it’s hard. And trading through uncharted territory in their relationship is not easy, either.)
