Hao already feels his eye twitching at the lack of respect from the way the younger addresses him, but he doesn't have the energy to argue, it's too early in the day, "Mum told me to tell you to call her. She's been getting on my ass for the past few weeks, so just call her, alright?"
"I don't want to, though."
"Stop being so childish, you're pushing thirty!" Ricky exclaims, causing people to stare back at them worriedly as they pass.
"Whatever." Hao winces when he can hear his phone ringing from inside the shop, no doubt his mother once again.
OR: Hao's life is falling apart – on top of his selfish ways of living. He also hates the idea of having a soulmate... or does he?
